Great friendly little place, came to watch a tournament and ended up walking away with a nice little stack afterwards (beginners luck). Would highly recommend sliding through after a tournament: lots of regulars and the ego energy was flowing, great environment for a newcomer. The manager on the floor was very friendly and went out of his way to make me feel welcome. Ill be back when I need a quick buck(;

It feels like youre playing cards in the back room of a quick stop. Ive heard of a couple people getting jacked after playing here at night, and I still dont see any security. How is it even legal to play Vegas-style blackjack here? Go and try to make your money, if you dont mind the smell and vibes of South Pacific Street.

Patrick the door man didnt let my crew in people were walking in and out and when we tried he said we werent there to play and couldnt go in he signaled us out because we didnt fit in he ruined our night

Small Poker Room, show up early for a spot in a tournament or you wont get in for over an hour and can only buy in at 10-15x big blind at that point. Really this is for locals and if youre visiting town, not worth your time.

Good mix of regulars & randoms. You owe it to your game to try it at least once. Dont worry about winning, Lady Luck smiles on those who kiss their money goodbye before they walk in.

The poker cash game they spread most often is $3-100 spread limit Texas holdem, $2-3 blinds. Buyin is $40-300. Typical crowd is a good mix of regs and visitors, and play is on the loose side. Ive never seen any problem with any of the dealers, who all know what theyre doing. The only trouble is that there sometimes arent enough players around to get a good game going. The only thing youll want to be careful of is that, since its the only public game in town, a number of the regs are playing well below their normal level and are much better than youd expect for these stakesBlackjack is by California rules, with a corporate bank. They also offer a dealer bust bet, with increasing odds depending on the number of cards dealt to the house.Theres no bar and no food service, but they do have complementary soft drinks and snacks for players, take-out is available from nearby restaurants, and a bar is right next door.
