Just signed up my daughter again for this coming summer. My daughter went last year and loved it. I dropped her off last July and stayed locally for the week. The facilities were as good as it gets. They were excellent and all the campers had access to the beach for swimming and beach soccer as that was a nice touch. My daughter loved the coaching and the coaches. She felt they were superior in every way to our local club coaches. I went in the afternoons to watch. It certainly seemed that the coaches really knew the game and could demonstrate anything. Plus they made it fun. And that is important. I have nothing but very high marks for Europa Soccer Camp.
My son went to this camp in Santa Barbara and it was great. My children went as Day Campers and came home each and everyday absolutely excited and just very, very happy about the programs, coaches and facilities. I am attaching a picture of some of the kids at camp that I took on the last day of camp.
We have attended many soccer camps for our son and this BY FAR was the BEST, most professionally run and directed camp! He attended one week in Santa Barbara and one week in San Diego. This was my sons first time to attend Europa Soccer camp, and he absolutely enjoyed it. He looked forward to the coaches feedback on his performance. The information of helping the boys prepare to not only perform for the coaches, but actually to talking to them was extremely helpful and very important on the mental preparation side. From a skill development standpoint my son said this was the best technical training he has ever had. Thank you very much well be back again! If anyone asks us we recommend Europa Soccer Camp
Best soccer experience of my Sons life. He follows European Soccer so to have Coaches from European Academies coaching him was a dream come true. As a 15 year old he really wants to get to the next level and onto College Soccer. He was a Day Camper so I got to hang around a little bit to watch the morning training sessions. The Coaching ability of these European Coaches was so, so good. Passion, understanding and ability to demonstrate were what stood out in the training that I watched. Far above the American coaches at my Sons Club. I will send my Son back to Santa Barbara locations again this summer and he will bring 2-3 of his friends.
My son told me that he would definitely do it again. He said that its the best soccer camp he has attended by far because he actually got to play soccer a lot during the week. He said the training was technical in nature with the coaches doing actual demonstrations by the training was done in game like training games. The coaches were helpful and positive in their approach. My son liked that they were a little bit different in their approach that his typical club coach as all the coaches at camp were European. He said it was fun and felt that he got substantially better.
My daughter went to Europa Soccer Camps in Santa Barbara. As with most things we found them online through Google. I communicated with their management team during registration and they were clear and professional. My daughter called me everyday from camp and told me what a fantastic time she was having. She attended with two of her teammates and when I picked them all up according to them they learned a lot and had a great time and that is all I care about. My daughter went to a tournament the weekend after this camp ended and I saw a noticeable improvement in my daughter especially her skills. I highly recommend this camp, it was money well spent.
Hard to imagine a better soccer camp experience for my son. The facilities were of the highest qualities. UC Santa Barbara is a fantastic campus. After registration on Sunday we took a walk around and it was amazing. My sons dorm was a stone throw from the Ocean. At registration they had a coach who worked for a big club in France and another coach was connected to that famous club Ajax. My son said they were by far superior to his club coaches (Santa Ana). All I know is that when I picked my son up the last day he was happy, healthy and said he had learned many new techniques. I will recommend Europa to all the members of my sons team for summer 2020.
If I could give 0 stars I would! Beware of this shady company. I did a lot of research trying to find the best soccer camp for my daughter to attend while I worked this summer. I was so excited at their advertisement from their website: Europa Soccer CampWell, I signed up my daughter and enlisted her friend and friends brother for a week of camp at UCSD. On Wednesday at 9:00 at night before camp started on Sunday, I received an email stating that due to numbers they were cancelling the camp that week. Now seeing as this was my childcare, and I am a full time single parent, it gave me just 2 days to find a place for her to be while I worked. Parents who have to find childcare in the summer - you know how challenging that is. Usually I take care of it all in March! I emailed on July 17 and asked for my money back asap so I could use it to pay for another camp. The director, Roger, asked how far I was from SANTA BARBARA! - that they had a great camp there the week they had cancelled. I explained that Santa Barbara was 4 hours away and I just wanted my money refunded immediately. I have since emailed 4 more times and have only heard that they will get back to me when their summer season is over. It is now August 23 and I have not heard anything from them - no return phone calls or emails- and have not received a reimbursement for the money I paid them in March. My next steps are Small Claims Court and the Better Business Bureau. If you are thinking of enrolling your child at this camp - think twice. As far as I can tell they are a fake company collecting money from parents and not following through on camp or on reimbursements. Bad, bad, badUpdate: It is now October and I never did hear back from the company. I had to dispute the charge with my bank in order to get my money back.
I would give this company a zero too. I sighned my son up for goalie overnight camp for 1 week. 2-3 days out I had not heard from them so I emailed and called multiple times. No one. Got an email finally stating overnight was cancelled due to lack of enrollment but I could attend day camp instead. I explained I was not local and that was not possible. I asked for a refund and was told there was a no refund policy per application online. I could attend other camps but camps on website did not match what he was telling me plus they were in San Diego and about 3 weeks before the end of summer. I pressed for a partial refund since overnight was more expensive but he stopped communicating all together and may no effort to make amends. I would have been ok with a partial refund but no communication!! Sad and beware!!!!!!!!!
My two sons attended Europa Soccer Camp in Santa Barbara in July this past summer 2019, just about a month ago. A fantastic experience. They had a ratio of staff to campers that was 1 staff f or 7 campers. The coaches had European experience and as I understand worked previously with Ajax and PSG. We had a family vacation and stayed at a hotel near by and came over and watched the games at night. I did sneak over and watch a few afternoon sessions and was really impressed with the individual attention my son and all the players receieved from the coached. A highlight was the beach soccer games the kids got to play rwice while at camp. UC Santa Barbara is a beautiful campus. My sons also got Nike equipment which was a nice touch. Great, great camp.
