Great venue for a wedding, including a private courtyard, a large foyer, and a large entertaining room, with a stage. Other additional rooms offer flexibility.

Enjoyed a lovely evening of Contra Dancing to live music with friendly people. Carrillo Rec-s spring-loaded dance floor pampers knees and feet. Fun evening.

Nice building located mid town in Santa Barbara. Parking lot structures near by 90 min free parking during day, handicap placard holders get 2 hrs free parking. Some limited street parking. Many different social activities are held here throughout each month i.e., DJ/dancing, live band/dancing, meetings, receptions, senior citizen lunches etc.

Great contra and swing dances. Excellent sprung floor that is a rarity in California.

The Rec Center hosts awesome events regularly. Dancing and weddings as well as community performances. Its got a number of rooms at different sizes suitable for most any occasion and good balance of indoor and outdoor space.

Carrillo Recreation Center in Santa Barbara he is one great use of Publicly Funded buildings. I have used this place for both dancing and also has a wonderful space to play ping pong. I love the center.

This place is perfect for private events or parties. The floor has something special that if you dance or jump witb heels it somehow bounces you back in a funny way. Will be coming back for SBRNs next event!

Love it has so much stuff there to do to fit into your scedule great for kids and adults too so go and find a class or what ever you want

The building itself is beautiful. And everyone that works the front desk is very helpful.

Great for Saturday Jazzercize classes. The evening Zumba classes are fun but way too crowded and a bit pricey if you dont buy a multi-pass. Wood floor has some give to it, so makes it nice for a dance workout.
