I love my Greens!!One of the best Municipals I’ve played. They’re taking care of their greens and just the turf in general. It’s super busy, but they’re maintaining everything, especially with this Hot/cold weather in 2020.- Will be back
Nice course. Very very hilly. We went on a quite hot day and mistakenly walked. Not the best choice. Also, we played with another twosome who had never played there before. It would have been good to have some local knowledge since you play to a lot of blind greens and the course scorecard doesnt provide a map.
Nice place for a good meal out doors.
Although this course is short yardage wise, this will give you a great test of golf.Awesome greens, when you can hit them.
Great golfing experience course was great shape
Well-maintained public golf course with a good restaurant as well. Good for kids.
Super well kept and theyre crushing the covid rules as well. Everyone gets own cartb and social distancing applied.
Meals are consistently great.
Great place and price for golf.
Very nice golf course, excellent restaurant and bar, and friendly staff all at reasonable prices.
You have one of the best golf courses Ive ever played on and its definitely a nine nine and a half on a scale of 10.
Very fun track. In amazing shape for municipal course
What a value! Very nice course, beautiful setting, super convenient and affordable!
I take private lessons here with Brent Cole and he is AMAZING! I always feel comfortable around him and he has a way of explaining even complex skills in an easy to understand way. He is very professional, kind and encouraging. The Santa Barbara Golf club (@ SB Municipal Golf Course) is lucky to have such a phenomenal instructor working there. I recommend Brent to everyone, he is a dynamic instructor and he works well with all skill levels. If you havent taken lessons with Brent, you should.
Great course, the 9 and dine deal is unbeatable.
Nice place. Challenging but fun. Bunkers are in great shape
Wonderful course with very friendly folks. The restaurant, Mulligans is excellent.
As good a public course as you will find anywhere. Not a super long course but challenging and in amazing condition. The staff were great and always wiling to find a spot to get you out. I was in the area for work and never had an issue getting out to play. Highly recommend the course to visitors its a non-expensive hidden gem.
Beautifully maintained for a municipal course.
Excellent course conditions. One of the best for a municipal course
Our favorite golf course in America!
Good dinner with golf course out the window. Reasonable meal prices and good selection.
Great course. Love the views
Golf course is well kept, often quite busy on the weekends and after work as expected. The cafe has some good beer deals and they have discounts for locals. Look at their lesson deals too, summer deals are really worth the price.
Very challenging, best to use a cart, a lot of hills, possibly one of the best municipal golf courses ever. Great staff, better than fair cost. Had a lot of fun
Santa Barbara Golf Club is GREAT!! One of the nicest Muni golf courses ever!!
Course is in fantastic shape. Off on time, a little slow the first 5 holes. Finished in 4.5 hrs. Mulligans cafe is outstanding.
Beautiful golf course and mulligans cafe is a consistent option for a quick bite on the patio..
Well maintained course, friendly staff and reasonable prices.
Santa Barbras hidden jewel. Even though I dont play golf, I enjoy eating at Mulligans Cafe, especially for breakfast, and enjoy the golf course setting. Family run Cafe makes for a friendly environment.
The course is in great condition.
Im not a golfer, but this is the only municipal course in Santa Barbara. It has a pro shop and a nice family oriented restaurant. The restaurant features a Mexican style buffet brunch on Sundays.
Public golf course which is in parts very hilly. Course is in very good condition. We played there at really good prices. They have a hotel rate for tourists. I recommend to use a golf GPS if you are new to the course. Mine was very helpful.
Course in good condition. Had a fun round.
Course is well kept given the drought conditions. Staff is always friendly. Course is very crowded on weekends, so start your round early. Food at the on-site restaurant is lacking in quality, but plentiful in options. Range is basic and the ball dispenser was broken on my last visit. Parking is easy.
One of the handsomer muni courses youll find, given that its tucked into gorgeous Santa Barbara, a stones throw from downtown. Also a great bargain by Santa Barbara standards. Holes are mostly straight, laying mostly side by side, but the scenery is uniformly pleasant.
Cheap golf and good food at Mulligans.
It is a public golf course, and I gave four stars!Let say, I played number of golf rounds at the Bethpage Black in Long Island NY, the number one public golf course in the world voted by several known golf magazines, and hosted US Open twice... made José María Olazábal crying on his mothers shoulder! This golf course has challenging holes, and maintained reasonably. If you pass the chance to play there, you will miss the great enjoyment, especially with the course fee like that. And enjoy the food and beer at the restaurant after a round. Do I have to say it was good? (It sounded so cheesy, I know!)
Had lunch at Mulligans and it was great.
Nice open course
Ive been playing there for 40 years and have never seen it in better shape the greens are the best theyve ever been theyre perfect. BRAVO! Keep up the good work
Short but fun course. Small greens can make it tough if the wind is blowing.
Good golf course, not too expensive, and good place to prcatice flat putt.
Excellent service, great old classic course. Good deals in pro shops!
Really like and enjoy this place. Definitely a 10.
Customer service could use some work and pace a little slow but really good otherwise
The Frist Tee kids golf program and the staffand course are first rate!
Sucked
Great food, great service
Great Golf Course. very challenging, excellent restaurant and Clubhouse
Probably the best city course Ive ever played. If youre a local its only $40 for a round and a cart.
Always has been a fun place to play. The staff is top notch
Staff were great. They paired me up with a couple of local players, and they helped me around the course with information!
Great RestaurantDriving range needs supervision.Shelter range balls are hit into neighbourhoods near the range.
Great web site always correct.
Great course, well maintained, good value, friendly people
Great home town course with great views
Well maintained course, friendly staff, and a great golf atmosphere!
Excellent food.
Love Mulligans Restaurant, especially the hot dogs.
Good place for lunch, Mulligans.
Fun course, grewt food and drinks!
Breakfast all day! Happy & warm welcome from all the staff!
One of the best links in Santa Barbara
Course is in very good shape and pace of play good today
Great walk.
Nice golf course, good food and drinks
Staff at pro shop is not very friendly and actually the pro shop person was rude and unpleasant when my husband who has a handicap placard took the cart inadvertently to the car to get our golf clubs. Sometimes a little bit of courtesy goes a long way!
Went to eat at Mulligans. Good food and view with outside seating!
Nice Sunday Santa Barbara breakfast. Greg & Karen
Cheap golf good good food and drinks.
The round was slow, the staff not sympathetic, we quit at 9 and will not be back. Dont golf here.
Great coarse
Lunch at Mulligans. Even if you dont Golf.
