Really cute bookstore near by. The selection is eclectic, but they still have the classics. I felt much more drawn to more books here than I do at your average bookstore. There is an upper level, where they invite you to read all day, making the books accessible to everyone.

I ordered a book online from Lost Horizon recently and it was packaged with such care. I opened the box to find it carefully wrapped in brown paper and surrounded with a layer of bubble wrap. It protected my heavy book throughout its journey in the post all the way up the west coast. Rest assured ordering online if you cant visit in person.

A fantastic store in a beautiful location, great selection of art, California history and first edition literature.

They arent across the street from the Paradise anymore, but Lost Horizon Bookstore is absolutely stunning in its new location on San Ysidro! The new shop is super instagrammable (for whatever thats worth to you), but the beautiful collections rare books and prints really demand that you head there yourself to see them in person.

I stumbled upon this store while exploring Santa Barbara last year. I just love book stores like this one! The owner was friendly and I picked up some really cool sci fi books for my husband.

This place is a Haven. The books I bought was a great read!

The store has a lot of quality used books in great shape for great prices. If I want a new literature, photography, or art book, Ill check here first before buying on Amazon.
