Great place to visit if you need to go to one of the shops contain therein. Otherwise? Not too much going on. Whole Foods anchor store in the basement, high end restaurants upstairs, with retail and cafes in between. Occasionally there will be high end art installations, galleries, or product demonstrations. Good place to duck in if you need something high end, food or otherwise.

Humble little park. Nice spot to chill and get some fresh air. Be weary of the occasional stoners.

Sweet little spot quiet at the moment I was there. Shane too many hobos and lacking flowers, but people let kids and dogs run around without a leash, so no flowers will ever grow there

Its a quiet little park where you can stop and gather your thoughts and just relax for a minute. Not for kids, no playground, no restrooms, no parking. Just a nice little park with about four benches (made for two), trees, green grass, a water fountain and a sidewalk around it so you people who like to walk for exercise.. Anyways a great park to put on the Walkman and get some serenity,I do all the time. Thanks. Hope you enjoy my review. Steven W.

Historic French Park is an antique neighborhood located in the northeast part of the City of Santa Ana, CA. The oldest home in French Park dates from the late 1870s. The newest historic structures are from the 1940s. The neighborhood is bounded by Washington to the north, Bush Street to the west, Civic Center Drive to the south, and Garfield Street to the east. Some of citys first prominent residents lived in French Park, including county officials, business leaders and Dr. Wehrly, the countys first medical doctor.French Park includes an array of architectural styles including Craftsman, Colonial Revival, Spanish Revival, Mid-Century, Victorian and Greek Revival single family homes and apartments. In 1995 the City of Santa Ana adopted a Design Guide to assist with the preservation of the architectural integrity of the neighborhood. The Historic French Park Architectural Review Committee works with the City to consider requests from property owners desirous of repairing or modifying their antique homes. The Committee, which is composed of residents from French Park, have worked with the City for over 25 years to provide comments and recommendations for these projects. As a result of this extensive coordination, historic properties within French Park continue to retain the qualities of original construction and appearance.

Its just a small strip of park in a part of Santa Ana that the city is trying to regentrify. I wasnt at the park I was in an old house across the street which belongs to the Villa sober living for women. I was there to take a training session in Narcan Administration. I didnt see any squirrels in the park across the street or anyone who was conspicuously French.

I work in apartment across the street. Mornings there are good, nice family people.Afternoons when high school students get there the pot smoking begins and does not end until about 8pm. To bad the city does not care.
