I think its a great park. Ive been coming here since I was a teenager Im over 50 now and I still enjoy it. Its cleaned up a lot. Could use some BBQ grills around the park other than that. They should stock more fish in these lakes this way people can get out with their families and do some fishing to keep them occupied and have some kind of simple fun around here.

Theres a great spot in this park. it has nature, wind, water, all these sounds is just so relaxing im telling go to a place by small play ground theres a bence and behind it theres a fence, jump the fence and be on the edge that meets the water under a tree so beautiful as the rises and you see the reflection of the sun. then the sun set, very beautiful it made me smile :) i wish everyone could come with me and enjoy this view together and connect as a whole, love and peace.

Great huge park. They are doing upgrade work. What i like BEST is they have a Bird sanctuary. All types of water fowel. Great for kids that have never seen. These types of birds. And also have alot of water. Fishing is aloud. Skate board park. Must visit at least once!

Santa Anas biggest park. It needs a lot of work but is slowly being improved. Many city events are held here.

Nice and relax in the am hours.

The park has two lakes in it. Both are loaded with fish. The downfall is like everywhere else the turtle population is fierce. Its still a great place to fish or simply kick back and relax.

Havent been since I was a teen(in my 30s now) I just remember being chased from the skatepark by the cops. Skatepark was worth the mission, lake seems well stocked for fishing

Used to be our favorite park... But needs serious maintenance. The lake smells, theres trash everywhere which means its even more overrun with birds and disgusting items for toddlers to pick up. Please do something about this, its normally such a great park.

Great place to play soccer basketball run on the track feed ducks.

This is a good park to come take your kids out for a bit or to go for a short walk but theres so much bird poop all over the sidewalk....

Please any one who works here there is people stealing turtles from this park I have picture of them please do something about it they are kidnapping them!

It became a nice park after all. Theyre remodeling it n its looking great..they have a lot of sports going on here. Soccer mostly . Plenty of ducks to feed n a playground for the children. Just dont get in the water . Youll come out looking green like a Martian . Its not the cleanest but I think theyre going to fix that also

Its an interesting park to exercise, refresh yourself both physically and mentally. There youll see different kinds of birds by the lake, fields. This park is in front of a high school and next to an adult school. They do have public restrooms, but not recommended, its better to use from neighbors (Centennial Education Center). There are also playgrounds, free parking lot. Easy access for the disabled.

This is a great local park with man-made lakes for fishing, ducks and geese. It also has plenty of grills and picnic tables. Within the park youll find Godinez High School and Centennial Education Center. Centennial is an adult education school that offers FREE classes. They have computer classes, high school and GED classes, as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. Whether youre a beginner or an advanced student who wants to improve your pronunciation, conversation skills or writing, youll find a class to meet your needs. Classes after offered Monday through Saturday. Check it out!

Really good! But are strict on the fields

Its a big park and luckily if you go to Godinez High School you can go and chill with your friends.

Nice and spacious. I come here on the weekends to play with my RC models: airplanes, power boats and sail boats. Plenty of space for anything you want to take on.

Very spacious and beautiful, so you can enjoy your time that you spend there weather your going to do something activity or just kick back and relax. I really enjoyed my time there. I believe you will too....

I am not giving 5 to this place, its just to call some peoples attention I was shocked!!!! visiting this park it make me sad, how can people be so unconscious!!!! Look at this poor animals how they have to adapt to live in such disgusting conditions the park looks like is been abandon I saw kids drinking like nothing, it was such a nice place with lots of trees and that huge lake,now is all dirty is too sad to see how people do not care about nature.

I believe this park is a duck sanctuary park. There are all kinds of ducks, quite interesting actually. Lots of space for picnics and BBQ. On Sunday you can find a very friendly local Spanish church gathering and several soccer teams playing. Beware of all the bird droppings along the walking trail, I mean literally its a lot. Not sure if the city ever clean the walking trail and the pond water Im sure is toxic. Besides that I find this park very tranquil, great for meditation and yoga. One of my coaches decided to have my sessions there in the outdoors and it was a great experience. Tip: There is a secret closed off area near the kids part great for meditation.

Whoever rated this park more than 2 stars needs to go to real park. You know a park where the grass is green, water is nice and blue and the bathrooms are not a drugged infested hide out. I used to come here to run and play ball but, this park is not maintained at all. Dead grass followed by green mildew water. Lets not forget the homeless and creepy single guys walking around looking at children play... Go to Irvine, Newport Beach or hell even Costa Mesa if you desire a safe place to get your fitness on and have your kids feel safe.

The gated soccer fields are nicely kept. My kids play soccer there. THE REST OF THE PARK IS TRASH!!! The lake stinks and is filthy idk how anything survives in that water. The restrooms are disgusting and the parking is full of people sleeping in their cars.

One of the best park I ever been. Very big, has ponds. Plenty of ducks and turtle and birds for kids to play, the restrooms are great, there is a lot of homeless people but they dont bother no one and they are people just like you and I. So dont complain about homeless man theyre just trying to survive be thankful you re not in their shoes, extend a hand to them dont judge them, they just need help, you might be there within even knowing itTreat people with the same respect you want to be treat it, but its a great park. Too many pigs though.

Grass is good, poop on sidewalk, but ignore that and its ok.

I dont know if is cause of over population or cause people juat dont give a f@&$ about public places. place is run down and saturated with undesirables it was a great place to go to when i was a kid but now is just dirty old and not taken care of. Sad very sad.

If I knew I could have posted pictures I would have of the green lake that smelled every bit of nasty as it looked also the infestation of webs on the playground jungle gym. Also not to mention the homeless that have taken over living in the bottom shaded areas of the play ground jungle gyms. And living in the bushes waking up angry that kids woke them up from there drunken drugged sleep. Not to mention when was the last time park maintenance actually took a actual look at what going on besides the sports fields. It feels unsafe it smells and needs to be pressure washed . I will give it 1 compliment the was a little Book House take or leave a book that was nice but that was all.

Was a good clean park e em the restrooms were decent, although only 3 dollars to drive inside in passed that up and parked on the street. Tons of peeps working out running around it cool spot.

Its okay to visit,but it is better known for the soccer leagues that play there its awesome!

Its a nice park. It has two ponds, a lot of birds to see, basketball courts, and a playground for children to play. however its not a good idea to go at night or close to next time because it is very unsafe. Due to the multiple trees in the area near parking lots it may make people feel uneasy because you never know who might be hiding in the shadows. But besides that during the day its great place to spend the day with family or friends.

Its a nice skate park

This is a huge park with so many options for every age group. I absolutely love the lakes here in the park. Full of fish, ducks and turtles. I love to be here every weekend. Its peaceful and has ample space for playing any sport. Also, I see people flying their drones in the park..... Just awesome. Must visit park.

Compared to Mile Square Park Centennial is well maintained, unfortunately.

Well because the park has a pond with ducks flying around. Then you have turtles in the pond. A play ground for the kids. Then we a high school and Santas Ana college. Its not one of the best place but at least we have a park

Got a ticket for being there after park hours. It was 6:10 pm. 6 years of coming here not leaving till like 8 just cause some racist pig saw 6 kids he could give tickets to. There was a gang of people in the skatepark but the pig went for the kids that werent going to run away

Did not feel safe, went there around 4pm on a week day. The park itself is pretty, however there were a lot of lone guys just hanging out in their cars... It weirded me out and I left. Usually people go to the park to run, hang out with friends, etc. But just hang out in their car and stare.... Nope, not for me.

Lots of parking spaces. Very close to Santa Ana River bike trail. The park is beautiful, but the geese and ducks poos everywhere.

Always a great time at centennial park. Too bad theres lots of construction right now that ruins the scenery. Sucks that City of Santa Ana cant speed up the process. Its been a while since they started.

Nice soccer field

This is a nice resource in Santa Ana. They have an education facility, ponds, several soccer fields, a skateboard park, and ample parking. As of Jul in 2018 they are doing several construction improvement projects.

Mens and womens bathrooms are awful and field conditions are fair

Very nice park, has lakes and ducks, 3 playgrounds! All resembling boats/ships...very cute...lots of sand for the kids to play in too! And free parking!

This is a nice park it has a man-made lake, but not a lot of trees or picnic tables.

Great to skate at in the skate park

Not the biggest park, and its kind of messed up, but they are cleaning and fixing it up.

So I came here with my kids and 1 playground had a grown man sitting inside. He walked away after he noticed us. The 2nd had 2 teenagers probably ditching school to drink beer at the park. Left their containers, but we didnt stay after that. 5 minutes was enough to know this place isnt safe.

All the sidewalks are too full of duck feses you cant even walk around. Without carefully stepping around the fresh eliminate of feses its smells very bad also. The pond is disgusting thick green mucky water. Not a good place to visit
