I’m not one to go and leave reviews but when a coach goes above and beyond for your child you have to share it with the world. My kids have been playing for oysc since little lions and now they are 10 & 13. Has every year been amazing? No! But have my kids continued to love the game, yes. We’ve had bad coaches and awesome coaches. This year my younger son got in trouble in school. I grounded him and reached out to his coach. The coach had my back, had a talk with my son and the whole team on the importance of school and how playing soccer was a privilege. The coach didn’t have to say or do anything but he did. He took time to pour life into my son. I am so grateful for this coach using his influence on his players to better them. My son quickly turned around his attitude and is doing much better in school. The teacher is so impressed as well for his coach taking time to speak to him. Thank you orlando city for great coaches. This league isn’t perfect, no one is but I’m grateful to be apart of the growth of this league and will continue to support Orlando city youth soccer! Go lions!!!
Stay away from this club. There are a lot of clicks and Politics going on. That’s what determines where your child plays.
Coaches are Okay according to our Granddaughter.
Development of player are lacking with no training philosophy. If you want club and not academy style training with teams that don’t interact and coaches that are stand off then go for it. Reward the wrong behaviors in development.
Current program and coaching staff leave a lot to be desired. Youre have a responsibility to the youth and families of the soccer community. Take a good look at the way you interact with your teams and families. Be professional at all times and mind your manners. It takes courage to be a leader, compassion to be a teacher and mindfulness to be a mentor. I feel you have fallen short in my expectations.
Your kids will do great
Have not been happy at all with this league for my son. Two seasons ago they had too many players on the team & we were lucky if my son got to play at all. They continued to lose game after game without switching up players or strategy. Last season they continue to have a losing team, which I wouldnt mind if the boys could actually make a pass or play their positions properly. I feel like my son has gotten worse since being in this league. Not to mention the practices are miles away! Between travel time and the actual practice its at least 6hrs out of a week not including games, which I also wouldnt mind if their team looked good during the games. Just the last game I went to, they looked horrible, didnt score one goal and the coach just sat on the bench the whole time! For a league that costs so much money & time (even making you buy practice uniforms) I expect much, much more then what I feel we have wasted our time and money on. Very disappointed to say the least.
For the biggest youth soccer club they have less than the best coaching.. For a tryout club our team has several 1st year players... if you all you want is money have a bake sale...
The concessions closed early on championship Saturday. That was stupid. And the bathrooms leave alot to be desired.
The club is very good, the people that are saying that the coaches don’t teach well, maybe is that your kid didn’t make into a good time, they probably play on white or gold kkk but if you’re good they give you free stuff and good coaches, maybe you should worry more about your kid then the program
A very hard lesson learned. We bought into the club as they promoted player development. In my opinion, they do not teach the game of soccer well. Your child makes a team and then can be moved at anytime without notice in the club. Out of 1/2 year, we had a coach quit and fill in coaches and ended up with a coach that didnt know youth soccer. Coach Tyler was amazing but as for the rest....definitely not worth the $2000 for our experience here. A hard and very pricey lesson learned.
Good coaches but waste of your time and money.
Terrible...
Amazing program!
Very cheap and cold beers
