I had a wonderful weekend at Huttopia with my husband and two friends. We stayed in a Vista-a tiny home for two nights. The positives: great fire set up, wonderful on site restaurant and ability to get cappuccino while being in nature, nearby walmart, pizza hut delivers here, hammocks for lounging and paddle boards. The negatives, houses close together, was a bit chilly at night but we cuddled.

We stayed in one of the vistas with 2 dogs and 2 couples. The cabin we got was not as expected with glass or screen around the porch as pictured on the website. We did notice some other vista cabins that have screens around their porches, which would’ve made our stay so much more comfortable because the mosquitoes are relentless at night. Pros- dog friendly, good size bathroom, sufficient amenities, relaxed environment, pond for swimming, SUP/kayak/canoe rentals, gas grill, fire pit, picnic table, affordable, clean sheets packaged in plastic when we arrived. Cons- no fans/AC/ventilation exhaust of any sort (we had to go to the Walmart nearby to get some fans otherwise we wouldn’t have survived the stay), no screens on the porch (if our cabin was screened in, we wouldn’t have had to go buy fans because we could’ve left the cabin wide opened for air flow, no curtain in the bathroom window (everyone could see in walking by).

Huttopia was so beautiful, the staff were very friendly and informative. We got a lakefront Trappeur that was breath taking. The inside was spacious with a full working bathroom, a toilet and stand up shower along with a kitchen inside which they provided all the utensils. My boys favorite was being able to fish from our site and the beautiful pool! They have been begging to go back since our stay!

We love this glamping site, just perfect for families. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the lake with canoes and paddle rental, the playground and the restaurant. It was really clean! We will be back for sure.

Such a beautiful location with so much to do while still be able to relax! I love that the tents have beds and full bathrooms! So nice to be able to have a camping feel while still having running water, lights, and beds. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant food was delicious!

We had an excellent stay at Huttopia Southern Maine! Very affordable, clean cabin, and everything you need is provided - personal BBQ, firepit (with firewood), shower, bathroom, etc. It’s easily accessible but feels wonderfully tucked away in the woods. Jessie was so kind and went above and beyond for us (I lost my necklace under the cabin and he came with a rake and helped us find it!) Highly recommend, and definitely planning on returning soon!

We loved our getaway this summer to Huttopia! The tents were a perfect size and the pond was perfect for swimming (we brought paddleboards but you can rent them on site). Tl it was so nice to have a restaurant on site as well, we cant wait to return!

The resort was clean and located in a great area. Unfortunately Huttopia fails to mention on their website that they have extremely strict quiet hours starting at 10pm every night and that this is mainly a resort for families with young children. I was not notified of this until the day we arrived and a note was left in our check in bag. My group turned all music off and sat by the campfire on our first night. Our neighbors were insane and told us we needed to whisper or stay inside. They complained on us to the resort staff three times and tried calling the police on us. They also made accusations that we were engaging in inappropriate behavior outside. This ruined our first night completely. The staff agreed that we did nothing wrong, but nevertheless it truly put a damper on our moods. We were lucky that we did not get kicked out. Supposedly if we received any other complaints we would get kicked out immediately. The resort also does not portray the tents/homes properly. They are all extremely close to one another with no privacy. All in all, I would not recommend Huttopia unless you have kids that know how to be quiet and go to bed very early at night. This is not a place for people in their late twenties/early thirties. I had high hopes but unfortunately we will not be returning. Some advice to Huttopia would be to clarify on their website about the fact that this is a family resort with extremely strict rules. This is not a camping/glamping place to come with your adult friends and family.

I wish I got their names, but the 3 folks behind the cafe on July 3rd until close are AMAZING. Super friendly, making sure everyone is taken care of. Walking around asking if they can get people anything, keeping the place tidy and clean. Super great members- 2 girls and 1 guy.

I have never before left a bad review online but our experience was horrific. The trappeur duos only have a small space heater not even aimed at the bed. I brought my grandmother and the room/tent was about 40 degrees the entire night! It was a low of 30 degrees that night. There was no warning that our room would be cold without heat before checking in or I would have NEVER purchased or stayed there. Again, I brought my grandmother and we both have underlying health conditions, so we don’t need to stay in the freezing cold. My grandmother couldn’t even take a shower in the morning because it was so cold. When I got to the front desk they said, “well, you should have called us, we have extra space heaters we could have brought to your room”. However, when checking in there was no mention of this. They never told us that it would be cold or that there was the option of new heaters. They didn’t even provide so much as a meaningful, “we apologize”. I think this could be a great place to stay in the summer, but for us, in September without the warning, was a very, very bad experience.

Cool concept...great for people with kids...but the huts we were in were on top of each other...no privacy at all. At night when we had the fire going the neighbors to the right were at their fire pit less than 10 feet away...which made things very awkward. Not a place to go if you want privacy.

Our cabin was filthy, the staff didn’t fill us in on rules, check out times etc, we were awake all night with 1- crying babies 2- children yelling 3- domestic assaults and fighting and 4- a bachelorette party that went until 3 am BUT couldn’t play music passed 10. (Even if it was to drown out the couple swearing at and punching each other) Apparently it was our fault for not complaining enough..visit the nh location. Amazing people and staff!

Incredibly LOUD and NOISY!Do not stay here if you want time in nature. It’s past 11pm and there are people yelling. Music is blasting in multiple tents. Some kids are partying/drinking and keep screaming. Do not stay here if you are a family, have young kids, or want to sleep at night. I’ve never been in a campsite this loud. With apparently no staff around to reign in the insane level of noise. This place is the opposite of glamping - do not expect to hear or notice any nature. All you’ll notice is the noise. Extremely disappointing.

Terrible experience. We were told we couldnt listen to music, during daylight hours, not just quiet time, because this is considered glamping, not camping. The place is full of tourists from neighboring states, but doesnt follow any of the rules set up to address the covid. They never asked any of us if weve been tested for the virus. We had guests, and were being quiet, when the management approached our site and told everone they had to leave. It was well before quiet time, so we asked why. Their reply was because they said so. Very disappointing experience. Dont waste your money or time.

Oddly enough 4 of these photos are of my friends and family ! My family in Mass had a site here we came from Florida to visit. WARNING: Owner is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY ! Followed and harassed our very well behaved and monitored children! Meanwhile her grandchildren we observed tossing patio furniture in the pool after pool hours and unattended at all times. They complained because my 13 yr old and 10 yr old nephew rode bikes around alone same as her grandchildren. We were followed around she drove by our site constantly. We are a close, quiet, and respectable family. Sadly her constant accusations, complaints, and stalking ran us off ! Thousands to relocate there, even got our friend to purchase next to us with her foster child! The harassment continued all season . My family spent thousands next season to relocate OUT!Our friend sold her camper same time ! If you have no kids and are over 55 you may like it here otherwise STAY AWAY! SAD .... the lake is beautiful! Only good point. Fortunately I didnt purchase a 3rd camper and site here as was planning. The owner the only issue heard she took over a couple years ago and since has driven people out ! ( told this by her onsite family member !)
