I’m a big fan. As a sporting shooter already this is just pure fun. Set up like a golf course for shooting clays. Easy to walk the course. Will take about one hour. Awesome fun!!

This range truly is something special. A beautiful piece of property with great stages that rotate regularly, a clubhouse staffed with friendly, professional, and knowledgeable folks and a relaxed atmosphere that makes for a really enjoyable place to shoot. They also host the largest shotgun shotgun show Ive ever heard of. Its quite the spectacle.

Enjoyed my time there with some family. Golf carts were great for my father who has a prosthetic leg. Bring your own eye protection to save some $. Will be back.

Very friendly atmosphere. I am very impressed by the instruction there too. Depending on how often you shoot clays, membership can make this place far more cost efficient than any of the other clays spots in the area, so this is a really good home range to hone ones skills.

Best sporting clays range around. There might be more advanced facilities but I havent had a better experience anywhere.Its affordable, they keep the walking paths clean and free of mud, the traps always are stocked and in good working order and they change the course VERY often making it a new experience every time.Most importantly the staff is polite, professional and respectful of both the safety of those visiting the range and the properties adjacent to their range.For my money, I wont go anywhere else unless its a matter of being outvoted or if Im visiting a different part of the state.

Went with a group of 8 just for fun. The girl at the front desk was very short with all of us. It seemed like they didnt want our business. I guess they dont like larger groups. We felt unwanted there.

I had such fun shooting at the clays range that I look forward to going many more times, and maybe hire one of the shooting instructors to improve my shooting game. The tremendously polite and helpful staff and knowledgeable instructors that can help you improve your consistency make this a great all around range. The clays course changes frequently which makes it a different experience nearly every time you go. I know this sounds like they paid me to write this but I truly enjoyed my experience there. The big wooden signs along the road with the bird dog on them make it easier to find the location.

Several years ago I suddenly lost my shotgun shooting accuracy and I was mystified and upset, because upland bird and waterfowl hunting were such enduring passions. Finally I asked Bill Kempffer at Deep River to analyze my shooting. Having never had any lessons, despite hunting effectively for 30 years,I was both skeptical and apprehensive my first day. Bill instantly detected major flaws in my gun mount and gave me simple instructions to correct them. On my next visit, he detected a vision problem only a real pro would have found. He discovered I had indeterminate eye dominance, meaning that my master eye switched back and forth from right to left eyes, which caused me to either hit or miss my a wide margin at clays and game birds. Shooting habits, long ago formed, are hard to correct, but Bill insisted I try. He then taught me to overcome my tendency to analyze shots rather than shoot instinctively. For several years, I would come back to Bill for coaching and he has always detected problems and helped me correct them. I am going back in a few days for yet another tune up. The unpredictable flight of ruffed grouse and woodcock still challenge me, but I am much more likely to make good shots now than before Bills coaching. My young bird dog appreciates actually getting some of the birds she points.

Fun, but no golf carts last time I was there. The best is the tower over water, which launches clay pigeons like ducks landing on the pond.

What a difference a small amount of professional instruction can do to boost your confidence when it comes to the shooting sports. I took my first lesson this past weekend with Chuck Foster and the results were eye opening . The other staff members were very helpful and I found the course to be professionally managed. I look forward to returning with my family during the holidays.

We went with a group. The guide we had launching the clays did great job, was nice and instructive with everyone. He really encouraged the kids we had with us. Yes, good for their future business, but good for the kids too.

Had a great time here shooting some clays with my Uncle. Fair prices, and a nice little shop with shotguns and a few pistols. They have golf carts for rent for those who wish to use them.

Deep River is an outstanding sporting clays venue with a good variety of target presentations that they vary regularly. Hands down it is one of the nicest walking courses around. Ive always found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Their Wobble deck is an outstanding method of introducing the youngsters and new shooters to the sport. On a side note their Spring Souther SxS event is top shelf and something well worth attending irregardless if you are shooting the event.

Great facility, welcoming to newcomers and offering a wide range of shooting opportunities. I thought the price was reasonable ( 2 rounds of sporting clays, shotgun rental and ammo for ~$100 ). Great way to spend a morning with friends.

These guys and gals are top notch,been going there for about 3 month now and love every minute of it...Extremely friendly staff and they make you feel like your are at home.....Highly recommended.....
