This was my first time golfing and I went with my husband and another couple. The road turning in felt extremely dangerous so be careful. As far as golfing, I was worried I would feel uncomfortable but it was a pretty smooth experience and operation. Excited to go back in the future!

Good setup and tough course! It needs some course maintenance to make it one of the better courses in southern Maine.

Course looks great in 2020. New tee boxes on 4, 5, 7, 9, 14, 18. Other big improvements to create more open space and drainage.

Love the course. Its a challenge and they are making big improvements.

Sanford Country Club is a long time favorite. A nice golf course. Well maintained. It survived a brutal winter. The greens are in good shape, but the tee boxes leave a lot to be desired. To be fair, you have to compare it to other courses in the area, and that is where the four stars come into play. Compare it to the others, its competitors, and it looks much better. And check to see if the special is still running: Bring a canned or boxed item in for donation and get a fantastic rate with cart, $39. Way better than elsewhere.

Great course for the money.

I set a tee time online (plenty to choose from), I arrive 3 minutes early but the lady is NOT in the office. After 5-6 minutes she comes in and then tells me she put 2 groups of 4 over my time and I have to wait an hr or more to play. Ohh yeah, she also tried saying I was late. I told her Ive been here for several minutes and you werent here and she said it doesnt matter, Im still late. Wow. So happy I got up early and drove 40 minutes to play this parking lot for an hour.

Had a good time out on the course, pro shop guys are awesome.

Got paired with a super nice couple who were members. Beautiful day!

A once good golf course has fallen on hard times. More dirt, weeds and crabgrass than actual grass. Sad.

They had a food drive which was nice to reduce the cost but the course is in rough shape otherwise. Was not busy took didn’t wait on any shot on a Tuesday morning. I am going to try Old Marsh later this week.

Worst golf course Ive been to in Maine. The greens are full of holes and sand. The fairways are burnt and lacking grass at all. Not to mention the whole time I was golfing there were multiple lawnmowers mowing behind us. Not surprised theyre going out of business. 0 stars

They just have it together there and the staff is outstanding.

Well maintained golf course but very pricey. The staff can be, at times, in there own world when working on the course. Ive stood there for a while waiting on staff to get out of the way so I could shoot. The course is a lot of fun to play if money isnt a problem. Good food, too.

This club is in tough shape for this time of year. Fairways burnt and hard to hit front. Some tee boxes with little or no grass. Wish I could add photos but didnt think to take any.

Went to a wedding here. A beautiful golf course and the facility for the reception was very nice. The food was well prepared and tasty.

Price is high the grounds and tees are horrible the lady in the office over charged my credit card I was taking 3 of my clients here to play so I wanted to make sure the restaurant was open they said yes so we played 9 holes and then went into restaurant and they said you us we r closed but we can sell you guys some hot dogs really hotdogs I was pissed dont play here they are horrible
