Was amazing staff boss hooked us up. During this pandemic was nice to even be able to bowl. We came from Cleveland spend weekend out here. Great time food and drinks were nice generous and cheap. #Thanks fromTheClevelandCrewof14

As far as bowling alleys go, one of the cleanest/best places Ive been. Digital score keepers are easy to use and the staff is helpful.

Liked Jeffs knowledge in the proshop. He did an amazing job helping my teen get her ball fitted properly. Asked her questions about her preferences of how the ball should handle and how she likes her ball to hit down the alley... I am so pleased ... thank you so much for this experience.

My family and I came here after a long day at Cedar Point.. And it was the perfect ending to the day. Kids had a blast, food was great, and the staff was awesome. Thank you!

Great place to bowl! Facility is well taken care of. Jeff in the Pro Shop is a down to earth great guy who really cares about taking care of his bowlers.

The owners are great and always welcome my husband and I like family. Definitely recommend this bowling alley. Oh and the food is delicious!

Very clean, affordable and safe place to go. Great food and staff. Wont break the bank for a night out. I cant talk about the lanes I dont bowl but the food is great and the beer is ice cold.

I absolutely enjoyed this place! The atmosphere is campy and easygoing, the staff are responsive, and the TV animations while playing bring more life to the game. Its an out of the way place, sparing it from the complete tourist trap atmosphere, while maintaining good business as I saw today. I am terrible at bowling, but if youre visiting Sandusky like I tend to do, I recommend this place for good fun and a good time!

I used to love coming to this bowling alley when i was little. But now what i found out what they did to a buddy of mine disgraceful. Told him he is here by banned from the building for nothing. He walks in minding his own bussiness and apprently weeks prior a family had complined about him and will no longer be coming so with no evidence telling him he is no longer allowed in just tells us we are not welcome and thats perfectly fine. There are better bowling alleys.

Had my Sons birthday party here, it was awesome! Pizza, Soda, Beer, Cake and Bowling! Definitely all kids enjoyed it, as did the parents! I would highly recommend Star Lanes, their staff were excellent!

This a very nice bowling establishment. The TVs and computer systems are fairly or brand new and the lanes are in great condition. They have a very friendly staff who enjoy joking around but also preform great customer service. My only criticism is that their website is a piece of virtual junk.

The staff is super friendly but our lane screwed up on pretty much every frame. It took pins that hadnt been knocked down, put pins out into the lane instead of raking them back, etc. If something could go wrong with a lane it happened to us. To top it off, we paid for 1.5 hrs and got no extra added for the downtime our lane experienced. Four of us (two adults, two kids) couldnt make it through two complete games. Wed go back again in hopes of a better bowling experience.

Really great time! Staff is friendly and accommodating, food is good. The fried pickles are spears instead of chips which was awesome!

Its okay if you are bowling. If you are a spectator there is no place to sit and watch. Maybe they should not host kid bowling matches with no where to sit.

We walked in and the lights were glowing. My kids loved it. We spoke to the man at the counter and he told us the deal. We had a blast and ate some great food. Not overly crowded, good music for family crowd, and a great staff.

Nice bowling alley, kid accommodations and decent prices, BUT staff is not very quick or friendly. Wait times are long. 4 to 5 ppl working yet only one bartender seems to b able to do ANYTHING..even make change or take an order.

Beat bowling alley Ive ever been to. Great pricing and state of the art electronic system. So much fun the kids want to drive the 4 hours there again just to bowl!

The help was awesome! There was only one worker though and I felt terrible bugging him. He made us a delicious pizza, pulled up the bumpers, and fixed our lane when it messed up.

My waitress had me write down my own order and told me they were to busy to make the blended drink I wanted and to just stick with the beer because its easier also ordered food and asked how long it would be, she then proceeded to tell me that once it leaves her hands its not her problem and to ask the kids making the food in the kitchen side. Ive been there a few times before honestly had that been my first time, id never go back.

A cozy spot to have a great time bowling. They offer plenty of days for league and practice for league play. The workers there were attentive and happy to help. If you want a cheap fun night with the family, I am recommending this place.

Great place to bowl for a rookie or a guy that plays league. They have a pro shop and the owner will help you pick the right ball. I had a schedule with him and he and I texted back and forth to get to the proper schedule that was right for us. I had a ball crack, likely to manufacture defect. And with a quick text, I was in getting a new ball redrilled free of charge. I was given free time to bowl the day I picked out my ball as well. They arent there to line their pockets. The owner was a pro bowler in the past and continues his legacy with his bowling alley and pro shop.

The guy who has been working there for over 20 years is rude and unfriendly. I was utterly shocked on how impolite he was. He seemed drunk sadly.Bowling was fun. The staff, not so great.

$30 for an hour of bowling got us 3 rounds with shoes included so price wasnt too bad.

Friendly staff,well kept lanes. Lenny was especially accommodating for our autistic son. We found this place on Groupon but well definitely revisit next time were in town

Had an amazing time at star lanes today! The staff was great! The lady was so helpful with my kids, she went out of her way to show them where the balls light enough for them were and even brought out a ramp for my youngest. Cant wait to go again!

I love this place but be careful, if its a slow night they will close early. The manager will try too make it right with you and hes a nice guy, but it really sucks to plan a night of bowling only to have it cut short.

What a wonderful place to visit while in Sandusky! My large​ group was offered the party package that was cheaper than paying the normal fee for bowling, we got a pitcher of soda, a pizza & saved $$.
