The playground here is 4 year old kid tested and approved. The seating area is verdant and relaxing for adults. I would recommend to all families with small children.

Its a great place. We went for the scarecrow hunt there. It was fun. Appreciate the effort theyve taken to make the best Halloween for our kids.

Beautiful San Ramon Park. The walks under the trees are soothing and relaxing. They have fountains as well behind the main entrance building. Play area is currently closed (9/2020) due to Covid-19. The park connects to Iron Horse Middle school and Iron Horse Trail so if you want to go for a long walk this is an ideal location.

It’s our favorite park in San Ramon, we love it,so clean,so organized,you can play tennis,soccer,basketball,etc any sport you like,plus the play ground for 5-12 years old,add to that the picnics areas, also the community center there hold many events, the park also great place for birthday parties,I had my son there, it was great day for parents and kids.

Free parking, plenty of shade with shaded tables too. Kids have a fun play area with a fountain they can play in to keep cool. Swings. Trash cans. BBQ pit. Public restrooms. Baseball diamonds. Large, flat grassy areas (soccer). Tennis courts. Overall, a very nice place to relax.

Awesome park I just recommend keeping your social distance during this time in life on earth. Other than that this place is awesome.

There is something for everybody here. Toddlers can enjoy the water play and young kids have a more elaborate play structure to entertain them. Older kids can hang out at the skate park or the basketball court. Lots of fields and picnic areas.

Great park to take the kids to burn off some energy. There is a great play structure that has a lot of different climbing featured that other near by parks dont have. Theres even an area that sorta like ninja warrior.We went during winter so the water feature wasnt running but I can see the potential that it has during the summer. We will be visiting again when the weather warms up.

My grandkids and I love Central Park, especially the water feature. There are a few things that need addressing before I would rate this park 5 out 5. First, there is no playground equipment for young children. As stated on the sign, the playground was designed for ages 5 to 12. This makes it difficult, and sometimes, dangerous for different ages siblings to play at the same park together. The younger ones cannot follow their brother/ sisters onto the play structures because they are too high, or too dangerous for them, and so are forced to watch or take risks to participate. There are no toddler swings, and the one handicapped swing, which could be used for toddlers has been removed. The other disappointment is that the see saw has been broken for months. It also was difficult to use for the youngest children, but with adult help, it was a favorite of my 3-year-old grand-daughter. As I said before, we love the park, but my third grandchild has just been born, and it will be difficult to use the Central Park playground when he is 2 with siblings that are 5 and 7.

A perfect place for all ages to have sports under the sun. 7 basketball courts, soccer field, softball or simply running.

Very fun park. Central park is a great place to bring the kiddos. Theres a large playground with many more features than you would expect from a local park. Aside from the park, it is also the location of the city event center. Theres also multiple baseball fields and a large grass field. It has lots of picnic tables, a snack shack, and a few grills. Definitely would recommend going!

An event center for our city and a great city park to have your children romp and play. Important to get the energy out and the tired in before you take them home from their special days activities. Come check it out for yourself and your family.

Baseball fields are decent

Great playground for kids to play and families to enjoy a nice picnic. Theres also a water fountain where they can play. Its good for parents to bring extra clothes for kids to change after playing in the water. Well maintained landscape. The weather was nice but always good to have a cardigan or sweater on hand.

Really beautiful park. They have a small water park for kids(mostly to just get wet) and a playground as well.. plenty of picnic tables that you can reserve if you like. And tennis and basket ball courts. They also have a baseball field

Central park covers a large area. Large areas of grass used for soccer games, and a variety of other sports players on grass. Frisbee, football, baseball, etc. The middle area includes a renovated play structure for kids, bench and barbeque areas. The southern side also has bbq grills and benches with a skate park area. Overall, its a great park for a variety of activities.

Great place for recreation. Theres a nice playground near the recreation center. During the summer, the splash pad is on and a little stream meanders next to the play structure.

Big open park perfect for taking your pets, your kids, or playing pick-up games. Well kept and has yearly events like the Art and Wind Festival over Memorial Day weekend. I used to go to the free skate park when I was a kid and have many nostalgic memories from it.

Love this park, especially the water features. My grandkids always have fun here. We are missing the seesaw right now. Hopefully, it is repaired soon. Two things the park could use to improve it for younger children are some baby swings for kids under 3, and a play structure better suited for that age group as well. There are plenty of good options for the older children, but my granddaughter has just turned two, and much of the playground equipment is too old for her. If those were added, Id give Central Park a 5. We also enjoy the concerts in the park and the art festival. Ever thought about doing some Shakespeare or other plays in the park on summer evenings?

Its a giant Park my review is focused on the little kids play area:This is a great park with a nice large multi-story play structure. It also has water capabilities for hot days: a big fountain sprinkler that kids can run under and a creek where the water runs down with a little wooden bridge. Its really cute. There is parking right next to the kids play area.

Great park! You can put a blanket down and eat and relax while watching the kids play. They have a nice play structure, climbing apparatus, a small water stream, and a water feature too. They last time we were they with our family, we stayed for 3 hours. You can find some good shade too. Pack up some food and chairs and have fun!

I love how they redesigned it a few years back. Great place to chill and relax. Several options for the kids. The water park section is fantastic and the kids just love, love, love it. Parking is plentiful. Easy access from the freeway. Picnick area is nice as well. Facilities are clean and well maintained. It has multiple courts and fields for basketball, baseball, tennis and even soccer.

Firstly, note that this review is purely about the softball fields.Excellent scoreboards and Field #3 is very nice after its recent overhaul. The outfield grass on each field seems to be mowed often enough, though there have been times its gotten way too high (like Snoop Diggity Dogg!). The main issue, though, is that the city doesnt drag the fields nearly often enough -- I believe its done once a week and really should be done at least once a day -- and as a result the dirt gets hard and clumpy. But this isnt about being an aesthetic issue. This kind of surface results in a much lower percentage of true hops on groundballs hit to infielders, meaning on hard hit grounders theres a much greater chance of the fielder being hit in the head. I suppose if the city wants to take the risk that the waiver form they make players sign will stand up in court, they can keep on risking softball players getting seriously hurt with the negligent infield upkeep on all the fields.

Great park with lots of trees, to have a picnic. Has a good playground for kids and parents to sit and enjoy the outdoors. It has many places to sit if you want a quiet area or you can take the trail for a nice walk

Clean, separated from major streets and parking lots. The playground is not the best for young kids, but the splash pad is amazing! One waterfall feature dumps into a pool which flows into a small wading pool, about 3in deep. This flows underground past the playground to a man-made stream. The stream has cemented rocks in the bottom, so its a fun surface to walk on, though it is slippery to get in and out of. But its fun to send boats down. It ends at a flat drain. There is plenty of shade around the plaza, though less right near the splash pad. I would definitely advise sunscreen even for just an hour of play. I saw kids ages 1-10 there (as a guess). My two year old loves it!

Beautiful place for families or you to walk around. Community Center is there with all sorts of events and upcoming classes. Very clean! There are also bbq pits and an area that is covered by the playground for shade. Perfect place as me, my mom and our dog Biscuit have been walking there for years. Also, huge sports fields.

Comfy and shady places for parents to sit. Can watch safely from a far. Water play was perfect for my 2 and 4.5 yr old. There is a rock stream that isnt safe for my younger one. The climbing structure is for experienced climbers.

Used to be better... A couple years ago the city tore down the old play structure and completely redesigned it. There used to be a small pond surrounded by big trees that the kiddie stream flowed to, but this too was removed, taking away a nice spot for shade.Everything else is pretty great, so close to the community center.

I used to live in San Ramon and now when I visit I bring my son here and I love the upgrades they have made over the years. The playground is modern, fun, and safe. The water fountain still works the way it always has and is filled with children splashing and having fun. The tennis courts are well maintained and the fields are often used for soccer and other sports. The yearly win festival is pretty great. I was really bummed they stopped doing fireworks here for the 4th of July and losing the basketball courts was a bummer. But the park is safe, fun, and exciting for you and your kids.

A very nice community park with a nice playground for the kids and three tennis courts. The restrooms are always clean and pleasant to use.
