I have went to this Club twice once Last July and Recently on August 13, 2016 there was a performer at the same time I went Kimball Hooker he was amazing this Man do not have a Band and i believed he sang with Tracks but indeed he killed the performance and entertainment was Awesome. Hope ShBoom brings this performer at least once a month to bring a Highlight at this Place would be a BIG +... Hope to see this performance again. And for those who had comments about this place having OLD FOLKS hey its all about having a GREAT TIME of your life. Life is too short so just ENJOY....

Great music, and a mature, dressed to impress crowd. Very secure, spacious and clean environment. One of these nights, Ill get there early enough to try out the buffet. Definitely one of my favorite places to go.

Loved the music,crowd and service was great. However, ladies restroom was like 90degrees made me sick that we had to leave.

This place is one of the worst place I have ever seen they cheated me by charging my account for which I purchased the beer they charged me more by holding my card, I took only 3 beers but they charged for almost double the price which I got. Don’t let your cards to hold over with them. This is one of worst experience I have ever seen in my life. I recommend don’t visit this place

$16 cover and not worth it. Bartender was awesome, 5 stars for her. Definitely an older crowd and not busy enough on a Friday night for a cover charge like that.

Cozy little spot in San Ramon. Saturday night was an adult crowd, no scares of groping or other creeps. The DJ was good & played a good variety of music from 90s to today. Would go again.

Its within my age group. The music is generally pretty good, I think they are over priced, Ive seen people, younger people leave the line because of the cost. The food is served way to early if you want to stay and dance also, but I feel safe there your security is good . I like daning there because it helps my relax. Juanita

Latino Night...should be call SALSA night instead . Nothing wrong with Salsa but that is what the DJ play ALL NIGHT LONG!!! no Regueton, no Dembow etc. I asked the DJ for some variety of music, his answer was Talk to the manager! Are u fricking kidding me???? I am the customer!!For $10 cover fee, that place SUCKS BIG TIME!!

Great place for Old School Music once a month on Friday nights. I do not know if they still have salsa / merengue classes but those were great as well.

One extra star for just having a place for over 40 to go and dance. DJ and music stinks. Great place to go if you only like flash back music.

Most of the time they just wave me throughas i’ve been a costumer for a year. Tonight, they checked my identification and I complained to the manager. I feel like the the should be consistent. Either check every time or never.Long story short, they asked me to leave. I refused because I did not break any laws. The manager and owner told me never to come back and Shaboom’s isn’t for me because I complain too much.Yes, I complained before because one of the employees put a piece of chewed gum from his mouth into my friend’s drink. She thought it was a date rape pill.So, I guess the moral of the story here is if you choose to go here don’t complain. Otherwise, you’ll get banned from ever going back like me.Shoutout to Beto, Noelani, and the regular bartender you guys are wonderful.

I wish they played more danceable music, too much rock, not enough hip hop or r&b.

Wednesday night at ShBoom is the place to be. It is great to have a latin dance venue in the East Bay and not have to travel to San Francisco. The salsa lessons are fantastic. Beto and Lani are so warm and friendly and FUN! The dinner buffet, lesson and dancing for $10 is a fantastic deal.

Its a really nice place, but they need to advertise more because the place was empty by 11:00

We went there last Saturday, usually it should be $16, but I wonder they collected $20 for each of us. Did they increase the charge?

It is a wrinkle room. Really really old people. If you want to dance with grandpa then maybe this is the place for you. Not my speed.
