Really neat skate park. My son loves coming here and riding his skateboard and scoot. Lots of kids there and it’s tucked away in the hills. It’s also nice if you wanna go for a small hike. Next the the skate park is trails that lead to the top of the hill. Really good views of the bay.

Its really best for scooters. It is not your typical skateboard park.

Its really clean and theres no graffiti since its closed. Also no sketchy people. But the amount of busy there and swarm of kids on scooters always there can be annoying. Its a pretty big park and has something for skaters of all ages from smooth concrete to a massive bowl

This is a great park for the kids! Mine have both skate boards and scooters, but currently trick scooters are all the rage. They love it. Not sure why others seem to dislike the presence of scooters so much...? I think it’s more newbie/less skilled riders that bother some of the older/more accomplished kids. That’s too bad! I wish parents would teach their kids to be more patient and accommodating of others, instead of grumbling alongside them! Ignore the mean looks/heavy sighs and grumblers! Still highly recommend.

Most excellent skate park. Too many skooter kids with bad manners. But dont let that stop you. Just start throwing skooters if they get in your way . Eventually they figure it out. My favorite skate park.

Awesome skateparks. Lots to do, never gets boring. It closes at 5pm and they’re serious about the closing time and helmets for kids.

Park was clean and felt safe but most of the users were on scooters. Is likely best for younger kids not looking to do anything real difficult. Serious skaters would want something more challenging.

My son had a great time on his scooter. They have razor scooter riders doing tricks alongside the skateboarders. We didnt notice until later but there is a sign posted stating you will be subject to a fine if you dont wear a helmet!

The curves are way too steep for my children to go down in a scooter

Review №21

Its ok and tons off kids on scooters that are mostly in your way. design is kind off weird there is no space for people who like to do tricks off stairs and it rolls downhill so thats another thing that bugs me. no flat rails. steep parts etc plus you get kicked out for not wearing a helmet most off the time thats very annoying because I dont wear helmets or whatever never needed one and never will.

No Bikes Allowed. Kind of weak if you ask me. I get it, bikes go faster and could be dangerous to people on skateboards and scooters, but why exclude them totally? Plenty of kids and adults like to ride bikes in parks like this. They could easily have divided up days of the week for bikes / skateboards and scooters. Like for example they could have said bikes only on Tuesday/Thursday, etc.It would also be useful to have times that newbies and little kids can ride safely with no experienced riders blasting through the park, as well as the opposite - times when experienced, highly skilled riders can ride with no interference. For such a nice park, it seems poorly managed in a way that doesnt give any particular group of riders an ideal option, and excludes a whole category of people who want to ride bikes.

This skatepark is absolutely amazing if you are a vert or pool skater because they have an insanely amazing bowl. if you skate street dont bother going because the street and park area is filled with scooters. if it werent for these scooters the park would be one of my favorites following lake Cunningham because there are skatepark types for everyone. i am a vert and pool skater and really appreciate the bowl and big park section! this skate park is really worth your time. if you can go very early or during the week you will have an amazing time in one of the best skateparks in the country if it werent for scooters which you won;t have to deal with

Lots of interesting lines and unusual features, with a beautiful view too! Helmet required, I got busted arriving around 8am when it opened but was lent a helmet by a friendly parks employee, looked to be the only one they have. Other people showed up shortly after without helmets and stayed for hours without trouble.
