Michaels is pretty good when your in a pinch and need something now.I shop for oil painting supplies. They have a modest amount of basics. Because of Covid many distribution of supplies is limited. However, they remain a decent place for general art supplies.

They have everything. I make special cards for people and they have everything I need. Good sales! Definitely bring a coupon from you Sunday paper! Or online. Very reasonable framing deals too. Employees are super friendly.anf helpful. And on Saturday they have a craft kid day where you can come being the kids to make all kinds of things. Very fun to come here!

Arts and craft selection r great

Its a Michaels. You expect to find every art supply known to man, and they deliver. They have more art supplies than you know what go do with. My only recommendation is to have more people working the floor.

Michaels is a great craft supply resource, and the people at this location in San Rafael are really helpful. They seem to enjoy working there, which makes me want to shop there. Things are easy to find, and if you do have trouble, Ive never had a hard time being someone to help me.

I had left the store with a $34 shadow box. Since it was on special buy one get one free I went back for the second one expecting a hassle. I happy to say that the young guy and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Im a very happy shopper.

My wife shops here at least once a week. She can find lots of useful items she feels she needs at home

Great store that is very reliable when you are feeling truly crafty. You can always find awesome supplies and this is honestly the best place to go in Marin county because there are not many craft stores to choose from. I will admit, it is a little bit pricey but, the quality of the products is always amazing and worth every penny.

Yes, Michaels has everything you can imagine, except enough help to locate everything. . . . One person on the floor, very efficient mind you, but just one. Four people at the registers made checkout fast. All associates were very friendly, however, even the one doing the customer service on the sales floor. Im not complaining, just say. .. .

I have been taking my daughter to Michaels for years for arts and crafts supplies - crayons, paints, soap making.... Now its all about slime supplies! Oh well, at least it gets her off of the devices. The employees are helpful and theres a great selection of stuff.

Michaels best store around I feel I do a lot of craft work I make blankets I know I could Shay I sew Leather by hand right now making a gorgeous blanket for my bed for once make hats all kinds of stuff they have everything there a little expensive but they do have great deals download the app to your phone and hit when they have deals it will pop up on your phone and tell you ahead of time it is pretty awesome sometimes you even get 70% off on things most the time you get 25 to 40% off on things which is still a great deal.

I love Michaels, even though Im not to crafty. They have everything! The staff is always eager to help, but they wont ask you if you need help, you must approach them. The lines are usually very long, but the deals and coupons are great.

Very nice staff, helped me to find the most affordable product and when I asked if there were any available coupons was guided by the very helpful teller how to sign up for online coupons and saved me so much between both of their help and guidance! Thank you!

Okay look, theyve got just about everything for your crafting needs here. All the way down to miniature pieces of food for your models kits. However in order to find anything you have to contend with small aisles, hard to find staff and then usually a solitary cashier. All told, if youre willing to spend a little extra effort in looking around, youll probably find what you need.

Michaels is a wonderful craft store that carries supplies for any type of carts but also has many items for purchase. A complete craft and decor store.

Went for engraving transfer paper & fabric glue. They had both. This chains stores, has the most complete fabric/hobby maker items inventory I think Ive ever seen. It very difficult to get sales assistance. They dont exactly staff well. But if you have time, or dont mind self helping yourself, this store can be a blast.

It offers you the ability to buy pre-made goods to help decorate your home, customize your artwork with a tremendous selection of frames including custom orders to house your art work and even includes all the things you need to create your own work if art by selling everything from quality paints (books “how to” paint any genre you can imagine), canvas, low to high end paper and for those who love collage or other types of art that don’t require paint like jewelry they sell it all!The prices are phenomenal but YOU MUST GET YOUR COUPONS! Sign up for their membership program and you will find deals constantly in your email box or less constant reminders if you prefer via text! The coupons come with the text via link if I remember correctly.Lastly, I like the service folks on the floor. The only negative is checkout. It always appears to be a bit arduous with a long line and unclear direction on how to bypass all the “specials” for a dollar or so that leave your child in absolute want so you leave the store slightly irritated on occasion because of the wait and when your coupons are not eligible.Oh, I have not participated in a class yet, they offer classes all the time. The vary in degree of difficulty, time, expense and so on. They also the equivalent of half day camps for kids as well! I always think “that would be great” for myself to attend but I am disabled and getting anywhere in time is impossible if I make it at all when it comes to “optional” things but the nicest offering is they have online tutorials. They include step by step instructions which serve as classes for those too busy or physically incapable of sitting anywhere for more than 29-30 minutes!Go there-you will find something...even if it is just a sale photo album or storage piece! Check it out! I recommend it!
