Absolutely love this place, my husband and I are regulars. The workers are so crazy nice its amazing. And theres so many guns to choose from. Always a great time
Went there Sunday night. Didnt have to wait in line. But did see the DMV-like layout. So pretty sure its less fun on a busy night. I was on lane 9 and the mechanism that pulls the target would constantly get stuck. So I had to manually push it with my hand and get it unstuck. Nothing like reaching out and pushing on the target holder covered in bullet marks.
I learned to shoot here in the 1970s. It was very well run then and I am sure it still is today.
Friendly customer service. Good prices. Call for hours, Google has them wrong here.
I never experienced the poor customer service, they were actually quite friendly... the one and only time i went. Not only do they have terrible hours (M,W,F 7pm-10pm), but they seem to be closed more than they are open. Every few months or so they shut down for months at a time. It’s a real shame as they are the only 100yd range near me. Go to Sunnyvale Rod/Gun or Metcalf..
The RSO Range Safety Officers or ROs are probably rude to you because, from their judgement, youre a safety hazard.
Brand new but not open.
DMV and Social Security office staff are much nicer than these Park Ranger staff. Should bring them to those offices for customer service training.
The rangers are very rude and 0 pet friendly. You spend a good time, but those rangers watch everything you do.
Drove up to the man in the booth and said hi Im here to go to the gun range he shakes his head and says nope they been closed for 2.5 months for clean up and does not know when they will re-open they guy was cool but I wish they would put that on the Internet so we wont waste time and gas to go .....other than that I shot there Over 20 years ago so I dont know how it is inside
Place is OK when its open.NOTICE: As of 2/1/19, the Range is closed to the public and club members, due to renovations. We expect the range to reopen again in about 6 months. Please be sure to check the website often; once the range reopens, we will update the website.
So so rifle range. Strange shooting booths, you have to rest your rifle on a bench and aim out of a small window. Wish it was just open space so you could shoot from prone/kneeling/sitting/standing. I hate that theyre only open a few days a week and from 7pm-10pm. Not much time for live fire and targets at 100 yards at night are pretty difficult to see even with flood lights on them. I have the feeling this range is intended for hunters to shoot 3 round groups to confirm their bolt guns and optics are still zeroed. Last time I was there it was 99% AR15 owners and 1% old timers with their hunting rifles. They should also includes a section of the range for handguns larger than .22LR
Place sucks only 22cal.
Park rangers rude ass hell
Brand new indoor shooting facility
