I’ve been a part of the boys’ team for the last 2 years. I really like it here. My coaches have been great and have encouraged me to be my best. I’ve really learned a lot these past two years.

The coaches were nice, but not willing to move kids up. My daughter was stuck at level one, even though she had checked off all skills on the board. Apparently, 2 particular coaches have to approve promotion and didn’t want to promote my daughter. She was so bored working on cartwheels when she already had a back handspring. I offered to put her in privates to deal with any concerns, but the coaches weren’t really interested. We moved to another gym, and she was competing within 6 months. She is currently working on backtucks and punch fronts.Nice people, but won’t push to further your child’s talent

Horribly unorganized and unprofessional. New management is s complete wreck. When we started here (almost a year ago) classes were limited to 8 kids per coach... there are now 16 kids to ONE coach. Not to mention the coach turn over, honestly in less than a year we have had at least 10 different coaches, some TOTALLY UNQUALIFIED, high school or college kids that have them play games and play on the trampoline, total waste of their already overpriced classes. My daughter finally got a coach that pushed her and seemed passionate about her job... then she QUIT randomly and now we’ve had a different coach the last 2 classes. Just sad to see this gym falling apart. We had to say goodbye To this gym because of the disorganization. Also, this place smells so freakin disgusting, and has no modern ventilation so is an actual hotbox of stentch when it gets warm, just gross.

I have been taking my two daughters to Pacific Coast Gymnastics for the last 3 years. My daughters have always loved their coaches and their classes. The facility is huge and professional. The spectator seating does get a bit crowded at times but theres always a positive atmosphere in the gym and I enjoy chatting with the other parents while I watch my kids jump on trampolines, walk on the balance beam, do handstands against the wall, tumble through obstacle courses, and jump into the giant foam pit. Its a great way to burn off our kids energy on Saturday mornings. I only wish they had some exercise equipment for the parents too:)

I will begin by saying I am floored that PCG received such negative reviews within the past few months; I couldnt disagree more. I will clear a few discrepancies I just read from a few reviews. First of all, kids do not get held back from moving to the next level based on any type of discrimination or favoritism.Let me share my familys experience with you. My oldest daughter Olivia (four years old at the time) began PCG mid-July of last year (2018). She began in the 4&5 year old co-ed class. She started out attending one day a week, then we went to two days a week since she fell in love with the class experience, knowledge she developed AND Coaches. Mid October BOTH Coach Ellie and Coach Lynn moved her up to level 1, which for her age was Seastars. She was still attending two days a week and wanted more. She loved it. And let me say, Olivia is a very shy, quiet- introvert till she gets to know new people and new places. Not here, she blossomed so quickly. She actually carried these values to school and grew there too. Teachers’ were very impressed with how she came into her own since attending PCG. Forward to a month ago, mid January (two months later!) both Coach Lynn and Coach Allison moved Olivia to Level 2 -girls’ class. YES, that quickly! Olivia turned five January 6th and is currently the youngest in both her classes. Let me also add that my daughter is biracial. There are tons of ethnicities AND gender that attend PGC every day. There isnt any discrimination here at all! We also have my youngest daughter Alexis that just started last month in the 3-year-old co-ed class last month. She currently attends once a week and has Coach Lynn. Alexis adores Coach Lynn. She has so much fun walking in her sister’s footsteps that took places only seven months ago. It’s awesome to see Alexis and other students’- siblings begin their journey here. Our happiness is always greeted by a receptionist that is happy, always smiling, to an amazingly sweet, caring and extremely well knowledgeable co-owner Coach Janet, to all the outstanding Coaches weve had so far currently attend Pacific Coast Gymnastics. At the end of every class, all the kids and parents are just so happy. I’ve even met a few new mommy friends while watching my girls practice. The atmosphere is just so refreshing when we all know that this world can be so brutal. This place has become a part of our family and community. I’ve referred three friends that currently have a child that attends there and they too feel the same. I hope this very long, but HONEST review helps those of you that are looking for a place to help your child grow physically, emotionally and of course to have fun too.

Good school but daughter was here over a year almost 2 years and no major advancement....I closely watched and Lot of times the kids were doing their own thing without instructor guiding them...poor organization between the instructors....to add the office staff gave attitude and was rude. Beware there is a high level of discrimination here....staff are very selective. My daughter has another class and that instructor is much more attentive and treats all children equally. Im highly dissapointed....

I would not recommend this gym to anyone. My daughters instructor was very rude to her and when I confronted the instructor and owner about this nothing was done. The instructor actually had the nerve to give me attitude. I wanted my daughter to enjoy gymnastics not be mistreated by some loser. I asked for a refund and will never go back!!

My daughter went here for two years and liked it. Most of the time there was an adequate teacher to student ratio.
