This place was highly informative. Very educational and entertaining. I was thoroughly impressed with the history of San Luis Obispo and especially enjoyed hearing the local history of the internment camps that help Japanese Americans. A video was playing in the media room but I was enthralled with all.of the pictures and displays they had. For filling out a brief survey I received a free postcard of my choosing. Plan to visit again with the family

Such a beautiful place to learn about the History of San Luis Obispo County. The mission is a marvel. The architecture history and the stories of the people and the cultures that shaped San Luis Obispo are shared and displayed here!

Everyone was very nice here but most of the exhibits were closed and there really wasnt much to see. The video was rather interesting though.

In the old historic Carnegie Library in downtown...next to the Mission and Mission Plaza...a short but sweet place to visit
