This place was highly informative. Very educational and entertaining. I was thoroughly impressed with the history of San Luis Obispo and especially enjoyed hearing the local history of the internment camps that help Japanese Americans. A video was playing in the media room but I was enthralled with all.of the pictures and displays they had. For filling out a brief survey I received a free postcard of my choosing. Plan to visit again with the family
Everyone was very nice here but most of the exhibits were closed and there really wasnt much to see. The video was rather interesting though.
Very knowledgable and enthusiastic staff!
A great place for a history lesson on the rich history of SLO County. Youll be able to say facts about every corner of the county after going here.
Small, concise history of SLO. Knowledable but not a know-it-all person, helped us navigate and answer questions.
In the old historic Carnegie Library in downtown...next to the Mission and Mission Plaza...a short but sweet place to visit
Always informed docents and great exhibits.
Very passionately operated. Great info on area.
What a nice place...thanks
Great, short blast to the past. Especially loved the panorama of SLO from a long time ago!
New exhibits on the Japanese internment camps and a video of SLOs history are really cool additions to an interesting and free local museum
Very nice little history museum. Interesting local flavor and artifacts.
This place is a gem. Highly recommend the short ten history video on the area!!!
The museum is nice but their walking tour podcast is great!
As a museum only 2 stars; as a history research center 4
Good Stuff
Informative!
