I took my family this weekend to the Madonna expo, they were having the slo Reptile Expo there and it was so much fun. They had thousands of reptiles. They also had a show with a baby plus lots of information on reptiles. My kids really enjoyed it from my 2yrs old toddler to my 13yr old daughter so its perfect for every age.

Went to the the quilt fair. Wow such beautiful quilts! $10 admission for the 2 days. I recommend going!

Wide, open venue to meet various needs. Only one small room for smaller groups or a place to have refreshments, etc. Venue is old, so restrooms and other items are a bit out-dated, but it can meet the needs for a small to medium expo. Room can get warm if AC isnt turned on in advance (will eventually cool down once AC kicks in). A bit far from the Madonna Inn (and in the back), but its one of the bigger places in town to have an expo-like event.

As a conference/entertainment hall, it has its own charm. Facilities are well maintained, Ive also enjoyed attending several conventions and company holiday parties here - the venue serves as a very decent location.

What a beautiful, elegant, & well run establishment. A true treasure to find in SLO!

The Home and Garden Expo was really fun and nicely set up. We met a lot of nice people and got a lot of good information on home renovation.

Its a good venue for a concert. Just saw the Dead Kennedys. The bar was moving quickly. And they had the patio open to grab some air.

This venue is in a cool location but its very disorganized. Once you get in its chaos, good luck getting a drink. Also the acoustics are not the best.

Very large and pretty organized. Most events Ive been to here have been really wonderful. Easy to navigate and very friendly staff.The venue at the top of the hill is larger than I imagined, the inside of the building fits a great deal of people pretty comfortably. The outdoor grassy area near the hotel was fairly nice as well, far as outdoor venues go.Fun times all around.

First performer hit several screaching notes that were deafening, that might have been pretty wonderful if the sound person had actually done something about it... Seats were placed so that it was difficult to see the stage over taller/higher hair/hat wearing folks... Bartenders dropped bottles into trash throughout both performances that could be heard loudly over the music (bar area/entrance/restrooms all right next to stage and seating - its a huge venue - why not separate these areas!?!) Light from entrance infringed on stage lighting and all the talking from people entering, getting a drink, buying band stuff, using restrooms, etc. was so distracting and disrespectful to performers. The musicians we incredibly talented and we made the best of it but at $30+ per person and knowing that they really could have set it up so much better was frustrating and disappointing - FAIL!

The space is large and well cooled, the staff is friendly and accommodating, but the venue is a little short on bathrooms when there is a big crowd.

Love This Place! I love the over the top holiday stuff!! Absolute best shopping from around the world! Great, Cool Stuff!!

Small venue, but offers a good variety in food, drink, and novelties. Great Greek band and plenty of dancing.

Its the only one in SLO

Been at the Madonna Expo center for quite a few events over the years for various events. Usually pretty well setup. Staff is helpful making sure you have what you need (tables and tablecloths, etc). Offers a very good amount of parking, some at the same level as the expo center and other lots located at a lower level which are down the road or the stairs.

This THE venue for large group events in SLO. They do a fabulous job on food and service. First class operation

We were just here for the robotics expo. The building exterior matches the Madonna rock & gables look. But the interior has (perhaps necessarily) less character than the Inn.The event was a success, so Id say the expo center does the job it was built for.

Really a terrible concert venue. They need to make some changes if they want people to enjoy themselves and be safe at concerts in the future.

THC Expo was informative. Will be attending tomorrow to learn more.

Great place to have any big event!!

Had great time expert advice from the vendors. Enjoyed seeing all the digs and trainers and the ninja kids.always like receiving promo items. Looking forward to the next health expo

What can I say about Madonna Inn. If you havent been you need to get there. Lunch was lovely and filling. The music was soft and a nice chose for all age group. Looking forward to my next visit

I wont go to a standing show again, what a mess. I had so much beer spilled all over me. I went for a seated show, that was better (though not very comfortable). Good for walking events.

Its a fine location for a concert. Big but not huge. Bar has everything you need.

Great location for large events. The facility is very flexible to setup exactly the event look and feel you are desiring. Includes and industrial kitchen ( if they are to cater your event), free wifi, free parking, power outlets in the floor throughout the building, and a background for event management or to be used as a greenroom for performers.

Big open venue. Gets a little hot when full but really depends on the day

They only get a 5 because they dont offer a locals discount. Im used to tourist places giving the locals a locals discount. Is good for business when tourist season is waning

A very well run expo center

Good place for things like a Home and Garden show. Be sure to stop in at the Cafe for Lunch.

Maybe ok for a quilt show but terrible concert venue. No seats, no view, no water, no in and out. Wont be back.

Bad parking, for a quilt show.

The seating arrangements are very poor, they have people standing, without seats, in the front of the room, by the stage then chairs laid in the back of the room. Therefore the performers are blocked for the seated audience.

Classic big armory looking venue.

Here for the SLO BrewFest. Had a great time and it was nice being indoors and out of the cold.

Participated in the Hayward Lumber 100 year celebration.

This is not a concert venue, but a medium sized hall normally reserved for business conventions. Sound was poor due to the terrible acoustics of the steel building.

Attended a venue here. Good for parties of maybe 1,000 people or so.
