It was ok....it was nice to have at least 1 museum of art open during these times.
Love MADMi!!! Emotions overflow every time I’m there! Not only do I learn something new but also make new friends. The spaces are inviting as well as the staff and experts!!As A.S. Says “I’ll be back”!!!!
I give art lessons to schoolchildren nearby and we constantly bring the kids to this museum and have them view the exhibits and participate in fun games provided by the museum! Excellent environment for art education.
Recently, I was able to visit & experience great art & design. Its a small, cozy museum that you can appreciate everything even the architecture from the structure without becoming overwhelmed. It is important to highlight that even the staff were warm & excellent. However, I visited first thing in the morning & there werent many people and thus, the security detail didnt make us feel welcome. Rather than being subtle in her duties, she was rather stalkerish & judgemental as if we were going to do something inappropriate. I recognize me & the person I went with are both college student & we might look young. However, we both have arts background & have a huge appreciation for art and didnt need to feel that the security detail didnt trust us being there.I hope that the museums management are able to work on that & I encourage everyone to go, support & appreciate this project. Besides the awkwardness that security might enforce.
Excellent museum! They have interesting exhibits and its a great place to meet up with friends.
Fascinating history and examples of design movement in PR. The community that came together and created an industry in PR and the effort to revive the vision. Beautiful.
Beautiful building with a very interesting collection.
A new design museum in a historic building combined with a modern addition. Primarily Puerto Rican designers, beautiful and informative exhibits, creatively presented
Good for the kids
Only 2 couples at MADMI during my visit, one was us, one was a caucasian couple. We noticed we were the only ones with security detail. Disappointing to say the least. We are ardent supporters of the arts and this was the cornerstone of our trip to Puerto rico. Everyone should be free to enjoy are without stigma or judgement. While it was possibly an off day, this was our experience at MADMI. We will not return.
Its oretty small and the parking space is limited. Would recomend to find a spot in the street and walking to it. Also, enjoy the luxury of walking through Miramar.
