Ive been to the AR Workshop at least 6 times, and Ive done a variety of crafting projects from trays, to signs, to plant boxes. The staff there is helpful, friendly, encouraging and always ready to assist if needed.

I highly recommend this workshop. I have done 2 workshops within the last couple months and I am scheduled for another one this weekend. It is a great opportunity to spend QT with family and friends. My 11 yr old absolutely loves it and my mom who never did anything like this before had a blast. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable.

I have been here 3 times already for different events! Needless to say each experience was fabulous and handled with such ease. Even if your not the craftiest person, no matter what your project will come out looking amazing! I can’t wait for future events! Fun, affordable, and amazing atmosphere!

Ive been to this workshop 4 times and every time I have so much fun chatting with my friends, snacking, drinking and creating. I have made signs for myself and as gifts. My mom LOVED the dairy sign I made her for her kitchen and immediately hung it when she got home. My grandpa was a milkman and I put her maiden name in the farm name. Thank you to the amazing staff! They are super helpful in making color scheme choices and fixing any oopsies! You have to give it a try! Highly recommended!!!

Had the BEST time at the AR Workshop in San Juan. The owner, Brooke, is seriously the best! My husband and I were able to have a night out where we could bring snacks and create in a space where we didn’t have to worry about messing up our project! The staff was very patient with me as I tried to imagine the final product as I picked out my colors and stain. (I am very indecisive and visual) I had a wonderful time and absolutely LOVE what I created! My husband and I were able to make these really bougie framed trays that were unique to each of us! Super excited to use these trays to make more memories like breakfast in bed or dinner on the floor in the living room for an exciting game night. Basically, the AR Workshop gave us a phenomenal experience and also created the space and opportunity for us to create more special memories with the trays we created! Seriously, it was the gift that keeps on giving (it was a Valentine’s Day gift from my dude!) Some pro tips: on a wood project night, make sure you look through ALL of the options. We did, but others at the table with us had no idea they could make most of the projects that were available. If it seems like there aren’t that many, you probably aren’t seeing them all. Also, think colors and stain style before you go, or at least have an idea. It will help you get started on your project, as it takes a while. Finally, expect to be there a while. Get snacks, get comfy, make sure you tell the sitter a reasonable amount of time. You seriously don’t want to be rushed, it will be a really special experience if you allow for a stress-free space! Love this shop!

I have been here 3 times and have loved my experience each time! I took my 8 year old son during Christmas time to make some cute signs for gifts, I have enjoyed a mom’s night out here, and also brought my mom and sister for for girl time. Such a fun experience! I prefer this place better than the wine and paint places because I can actually display what I make because I love how my pieces turn out!

AR Workshop is so much fun for friends, date night, baby showers, kids bday parties and individuals. The knit blanket class is so easy and you end up with a gorgeous blanket. I love the wood working classes too. Ive got 4 signs and canvas items in my home, plus Ive gone back to make personal items for gifts to family and friends! You can bring your own drinks and snacks to enjoy and share with friends. The owner and staff are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Totally worth it. They are always having fun events too!

AR Workshop was just the creative outlet that was missing in my busy life. Having a fun, workshop day with friends was awesome. Being able to bring something decorative home for the house that was so meaningful and stylish was pretty great too. I look at my beautiful Morrocan inspired wood tray daily and can’t wait to go back!

I attended the chunky knit workshop recently and the staff was so patient and helpful! The step by step directions were simple and the staff made sure each person was keeping up and knew what we all were doing so we felt SUCCESSFUL! I love the blanket I made and look forward to a wood working project next time!!!

I’ve spent 2 super fun evenings at the AR workshop and I figure it’s about time I write a review.Night number 1- I live in Placentia and my sister in law in Fullerton, we opted to take the train (walking distance from her house) and open a bottle of wine on the way, cheers . The journey there was fun but not as fun as handling power tools picking out the perfect pallet, creating an awesome piece for my wall & bonding with my sister. The owner stopped by our table and made sure we we were enjoying ourselves & her staff was super helpful because we were clueless! We gave our helper a cash tip & could tell she was greatful, she definitely deserved it, service was top notch!Night number 2- We had a group of girls get together and help me get my soon to be new baby’s room ready. We had such a fun time! Brought some cheese, crackers & bubbly (I had apple cider of course)! We all made something different and I cherish every piece & the memory SO much! The owner suggested everyone write a note to the baby on the back of one of the pieces I love that piece more then words! We had 6 ladies & my 8 year old...Such a great time!Needless to say I highly suggest visiting AR workshop with your friends or family because you come home with something amazing that reminds you of the memory of when you made it, by hand, all by yourself!!!

So much fun! I’ve been several times with friends and family. Every time I walk away with a project thinking I can’t believe I made this! Great for changing up your home decor or for gifts. And there are so many options!! I also loooove all the retail items around the shop.

The workshop was a lot of fun last night. We were given a great presentation from Micah, of Rancho Capistrano Winery, in preparation for the cheese tray that many people were making in the workshop. Everyone that works for AR really went out of their way to help out.

I had a great time at AR San Juan Capistrano. I have been twice and loved what I made. They are very attentive and supportive in helping make my project come to life.

This was such a great time with my friends. We made beautiful pieces, had great support and guidance as well as everything being ready for us to create something beautiful!

My girlfriends and I try to attend an event once a month! Not only are the projects fun, but the staff is friendly and helpful! Every project and final product is unique and customized; can’t ask for more!!

So much fun and the staff is great. Ashley Keene was our assistant in helping us with the projects. She was so artistic and helpful our projects looked professionally done. Fun night out with the girls and could actually bring something home that looks amazing instead of a painting that looks like I cant paint. A definite must!
