I graduated from this place and I absolutely recommended to anyone who wants to seek help in recovery for drugs and alcohol.The food is absolutely wonderful thank God to Danny the cook. Its only for women right now so you dont have to deal with all the drama and Bs of having guys around.

This well managed shelter/rehab organization for women provides an outstanding level of care and support.

Angela, one of the staff members as well as Angelina the program director are very very rude. My wife has been here only a short while 4 days to be exact with a broken hand and they refused to help her get medical attention so she was forced to take it upon herself to call 911 in order to get medical attention. When I proceeded to go to the program and ask why they wouldnt help her the Angela lady was extremely rude and it wasnt called for I didnt know that checking on a loved one when not properly being cared for was a problem but Ill be contacting their superior in regards to the Matter since they were too ignorant to speak with.

Mariposa is a beautiful place to start on your road to recovery. You will get out of it exactly what you put in. There is much to be grateful for, starting with staff that cares and peaceful location.

Not a great place to get sober. Too much drama They do not understand that nutrition and sleep are a major part of recovery. I will not return.

We ware desperate to get help my girl call so many times whit out been help they said there was only 10 beds available and i may take up to 2 weeks to b help. 1st time i was there they have given me phone # wrong ! It was a bad experience for us and at the end they never call back neather help us in any positive way. Staff is suck ! I end up taking my girl out off the country to get detox ! If u need try out reach or other programs. Maripisa program it may b good if u lucky to get in at first...

From a clinical standpoint its very good. Also, it is county funded and there are very few of those left; so lets adapt an attitude of gratitude people! I have needed inpatient treatment a number of times and all programs have there pros and cons. If your fortunate to stay when there are a lower number of residents you do receive more one on one attention from staff; and what alcoholic/addict doesnt want to be the center of attention!!D

This is a awesome place for ladies in addiction to get a second chance at life. They gain skills they need to become productive members of society. The program is a great program.

Because of this magical place I am clean. Every staff member is so caring and kind. They taught me how to live and become the woman I am today. I owe you all my life because of you all I am alive and back in my childrens life. When I help people with addiction I use what you all taught me. I tell every addict that wants help to go up to Gods Hill cause that hill will save your life. Thank you all for teaching me and showing me a better way to live...

All Women, effective and naturistic setting.

STAFF IS VERY RUDE!!!! My sister is in this program and she is currently sick and the staff wont let her see a doctor or receive any type of medical treatment. I will be looking for another program for her, since their staff members treat their clients like garbage.

The staff do not control the people that are there. Several problems arise frequently because 90% of the people in this program are only there to avoid jail not to change their lifestyle and actually try and get over their addiction. There are no real programs unless one certain staff member is there. This could be an excellent facility if real programs were implemented and stricter Behavior standards were enforced. You cannot change a drug addiction lifestyle if you continue to allow the people to live that same lifestyle even though you are temporarily taking away the drugs.

Visited my girlfriend there today. Very nice setting and view from location. Alittle loud cause of gun range next to it. But its clean with alot of space and seems like a great program for addicts to recover.

Beautiful area to get clean and sober. Most staff very helpful and caring. Unfortunately, alot of the clients are there for court and hard to stay positive in that environment.

I love my wife and so far thanks to Mariposa I have her back I owe you everything guys but most of all I owe you my sobriety thank you......

I have been clean for 14 years now because of this place, going to rehab ANYWHERE is like doing time in prison, stick to yourself and dont get in to any trouble mind your own bussiness do ur time and get on out!! I was there 2 different ocasions first time i relapsed cause i wasnt ready only did 30 days, i signed myself in, second time i was there for 6 months i got lucky being there so long, counslers and staff where GREAT the cafeteria food was amazing people where nice and i learned everything i need it too to stay clean, i learned my foundation tools and i have been clean ever sence, . This place worked great for me . I dont know whats its like now but if your not ready to work and concentrate on ur own decease (addiction) then it doesnt matter where you go, drugs will always be everywhere u go, its up to you.
