Great place to learn a little science! You can come in and work on robotics wood shop and with the fossil expert who will give you a fossil where you can dig it up and take it home! Please support this free group of wonderful people by donating money so they can keep the shop open FREE to the public!

Like a little low-budget extra-heart Exploratorium built into the side of Mission High - one big room crammed full of experiments and demonstrations of basic principles. Bunches of live and preserved critters from various areas of the food web at one end, through electricity and electromagnetism, to optics and light, to make-an-instrument-out-of-anything acoustics, woodworking and craft, etc.Their periodic family day open houses are a good way to check the place out, though the real work of MSW is done through schools, summer and afterschool programs.
