More then I expected. Tix and parking a lil expensive but what else can u expect from SF. Area around the museum was clean with plenty of space for my 7 and 5yr old 2 run around. They even had food trucks out there to enjoy if u didnt wanna eat inside the museum. The museum was clean (bathrooms ) yes. Staff was friendly . The journey thru the stars show was great but maybe 8-10min to long imo. Defenitley worth a day trip.
Must see! We learned and enjoyed so much!
Loved it. Learned allot. Had 3 different shows today. Also love the staff :)
Terrible show! I want that 30min of my life back. Vortex 2... Some wannabee artsy/creepy music video. Nothing about planets, science or nature... Such a disappointment. Lesson... Always find out what its showing before getting stuck in the center, not being able to walk out on it.
Amazing experience! We watched the dark universe - phenomenal!!The planetarium is inside the California Academy of Science. This place offers so much discovery. Loved it!!
A must see! Very informative overall great experience! 5 Stars
The showings throughout the day are fantastic, definitely plan to see one of them during your visit! The graphics really are immersive.
Go and watch Dark Universe narrated by Neil DeGrasse-Tyson. No question ask. Just wonderful.
Super State of the Art. Most Excellent, indeed. Not for small kids though. Really, its intense. Off to the aquarium with them...
My daughter and I loved it here and we explored this place for numerous hours.
Very cool planetarium, with a panoramic and up-to-date digital show narrated by George Takei.
Id definitely recommend a visit to the planetarium. I was sceptical that this was a worthwhile use of my time given I only had a weekend in the city, but the half hour showing was comfortable, fun and educational; just lean back and be immersed in the universe!Particularly impressive was how current the information was. The presentation is apparently remade a few times per year anyway, but at one point the in-house narrator interrupted to give the results of some findings from the last month. The only reason I could find to advise against visiting is that afterwards you cant help but leave with a feeling that youre an immeasurably small part of a very large universe. If that might bother you, maybe think twice!
This planetarium is worth a visit if youre in town. It gives you a lot of information in a short period.
Welcome to Morrison Planetarium.
Good stuff
The best part of the academy.
A sensory experience
