Simply a stunning gallery, and Mark and Koichi are a delightful, knowledgeable pair full of wonderful stories about their work, adventure, and the pieces in their space.Youll find a range of art here, from drawings to mixed-media sculpture, primarily from Japanese artists. I purchased a lithograph from them a few years ago, and they provided expert framing advice to a first-time purchaser. It is the prize of my collection (for now). I look forward to the day when I will get to take home my very own Iwashita from their gallery!

Great collection of cutting edge art. One of the best stores in the city for interesting things, mostly inflected with a Japanese sensibility, but more international than regional. Worth visiting often. Prices are high, but the pieces are ambitious, and well suited to ambitious spaces.
