Love San Diego zoo and all the exhibits..cant go wrong. Like going towards later in afternoon less busy and animals more active especially big cats! Good COVID protocols..great exercise..only downside right now is indoor stuff closed and some things cant access due to covid but still a great time

Depending on how the days weather you can either see more or less of an animal. On cool and cloudy days where most animals are comfortable youll see them more often outside than in but if its warm out dont expect too much cause again these are cold climate animals. Overall very cute animals, very informative and great experience.

This place is great! Took my kids with some friends and they loved it. The place is really small, so you will not be there all day. They have demonstrations every hour and thats neat. They bring out a different reptile throughout the day and You learn something new every time. The price is reasonable. The staff is great. Will visit again.

Great little zoo type of a place for my kiddos. My 3 year old absolutely loved it. Its just right for the small kids. An hour and a half here followed by lunch, you have a guaranteed nap later.

The animals are well taken care of and its such a pleasure to see them

San Diego zoo is the best zoo I can recall ever taking the time to visit. Everything is clean and have so much to see. Take 2 days if u visit u cant do it all in 1 day!

I love it, its hard to see them due to weather hot, they like to hiding in cold cave. But we had chance to see them and huge!!!!

San Diego zoo is always an awesome and enjoyable time. Even the restaurants had good food, far better than eg Disneyland. Super nice and helpful staff too.

Decent area to see polar bears. Areas are roped off so people can filter through one-way and still keep distance. Play areas there are obviously blocked off.

Huge Polar bears that you can view from below the water line. Amazing to watch them dive for fish thrown in from their keepers.

One of my favorite places in all of San Diego. These polar bears are always active and fun to watch, plus there are great interactive exhibits teaching about climate change and the how it is effecting this magnificent species.
