This is the site of the PSA Pacific Southwest Airlines crash on 25 September 1978 @9:01AM PST. There isnt a museum nor a plaque at the site. The houses have all been rebuilt. I lived 2 blocks away from the site and watched the planes collide while in Junior High. 144 people lost their life as a result of the crash, 128 in the airplane, 2 in the Cessna that it collided with and 14 on the ground.
Maybe just been there to much, but its kinda getting old. As a museum should be.
We went to the corner of Dwight and Nile to pay our respects to this crash site we remember so well and were disappointed we were unable to locate a plaque or anything.
