I normally shop online because I like aerie but I was excited that this location has a little aerie section in it which has made this location my go to.I most recently came to do an exchange but didnt find anything I was loving so I wound up doing a return. The staff at the register was quick, efficient, and kind. I was also greeted kindly by a staff member but otherwise while I was browsing I did not have any staff interactions.The store itself is a typical American Eagle. They have a great selection of jeans and cute tops and then a bit of everything else.During Covid it is mandatory to wear a mask and they have disposable masks at the door if you need it. There is also hand sanitizer at the door and throughout the store. The staff was sanitizing the cash out area between every customer and I felt safe the entire time I was in the store

Weve lived in San Diego for 30 plus years and have been going to Mission Beach for as many years. This is the first time we went into Hamels just to take a peak. They have lots of stuff inside the store. Shirts, hats, swim wear, skate boards and they rent stuff to make your day at the beach awesome.

One of the best, coolest places to go to get beach wear, clothing, sunglasses, whatever else you might want for a day at the beach, this is the place to go for sure. Hamels has been around for many years.
