Ive attended this school since 6th grade (Im currently in 9th; class Of 2024) Overall the school is decent. There are really nice teachers and some strict. Students can be disruptive but the majority are kind, you dont need to worry about bullying since it rarely happens. This is probably the most welcoming school Ive been to. If you have a passion for the arts and want to pursue it, I reccomend coming to this school. However if youre the type to prioritize academics over art, then maybe consider a different school. If you want an advanced class, please contact your counselor. Better to do it now than regret it later. If youre planning on attending, be prepared! Especially if youre in high school. When I first got here, I felt welcome. The teacher here are really nice, but the students who is really talkative, is a problem for teachers. The academic here is great. Theres a lot of great people that you can be friends with. The art teacher here care about your passion. Which make me want to stay here for high school.

Ever since 2017, the schools gone downhill. The favoritism at that school is insane, most of the positive reviews come from students/parents of the students that the school loves. They are corrupt, there is AN ABSURD AMOUNT of bullying from the high schoolers to the middle schoolers, I know from experience, the school didnt take anything I said seriously because Im a little bit slower then other students.

This is the best school ever and I realize that James Maslow the person from Big Time Rush and the singer was at the school

Where do I begin with this school :) Literally it was a home away from home. The teachers were all very kind and eager to help in any way they can. I had a great time. The academics are pretty nice too and really the teachers themselves are so laid back.I made great friendships and all in all the atmosphere is really very friendly.

Ive been here for 2 years. Its a trap, I thought I would be able to grow in my art but Unless you dance, sing or act, they dont really care about you as much. The only good thing is not having a strong dress code and some teachers are cool.

Ive been here since 6th grade and Im in 8th whatever anyone told you thats negative about scpa it will happen anywhere the school is so welcoming and I love all my teachers of course there will be mean students but you will find them in every school. I cant wait to audition! To only thing is you can not even audition for tap and jazz even though you can take the class. Overall come!

To think to mark a low score for a school is hard for me to do, children should be able to learn in an environment that is safe and fun and engages them to use their minds and be creative. Vice Principal R. Christian Gordon is the worst Ive come across. He talks to you as if hes trying to give you psychological therapy. I am an adult and I do not need to be talked to as if I were 6 years old. You can never get anything across to him because he just doesnt care. Ive talked to multiple parents and they all say the same thing. Hell look into it or hell need to investigate it. Basically its to just shoo you away or to keep you happy while he does nothing. I can say the school does great things for its students but this guy is something else. He needs to be replaced ASAP!

I love this school so much! It has helped me discover how fun it is being a video major, while helping me grow to be a violinist.

Going there next year. Super excited for all of the opportunities as an artist, also excited to grow and learn as a person.

Class of 94. :) I dont know any alumni whom had any complaints. When you audition just to get into a school, you expect to be challenged. Great teachers, staff, and alumni.

My sister goes there and its her 2nd year. It is an excellant school. We love it. Teachers are great. Great. It has been evaluated to a 3/3, 10/10....rating:)

Scpa is the best school in the world. The school has 95% nice teachers. Its is safe because at scpa there at cameras set up for anything bad happening like garfiti or kids doing bad things. I went to the dance program at scpa, it was the best experience of my life. Kids there are so nice. Scpa also accepts any race, sexuality, body type, and others. They will except you no matter who your are. They are very supportive. Scpa is also very big but easy to locate class rooms. Scpa is also very good with money and has good supplies for your children. I really suggest going here or let your child go here. Its amazing!

This is an amazing school, played a huge part of the adult I am today!!!!

Was there for all 7 years, 6th to 12th grade. and I gained so many experiences in the Instrumental Music and Martial Arts fields (which is also offered as a PE class) that i probably wouldnt had been able to get anywhere else thanks to this school.

I did a a choice form for my son and I even went to see the school in PERSON so then I called to see if they had the form for the kids the lady said no give me till Friday I wait for 1 week till she called and said he was not expected I think is because he has an IEP I dont think if fair I think who do the choice for should get in they should of told me this a LONG time now I have to look for a another school for my son so dont count on this school
