It was my 1st time visiting PWAT and I absolutely loved it. The service, ambiance and wine is amazing! Maureen was our instructor and honestly no one else is better suited to be an instructor than her. She was so helpful and energetic and made our experience amazing! Highly recommend!
I can not say enough nice things about this place! I recieved a gift certificate to Art on 30th for Christmas which lead me to take my first class in April, Abstract Art with Ann. Tons to learn & so much fun along the journey!! I left with a renewed passion for art, new skills & lifelong friends. What Kate has created here is nothing short of amazing! Her and her entire team of staff and instructors are so passionate about what they do it shows and they willingly share their techniques with the students & their love of art with the San Diego community; its enriching for the community. Such a wonderful supportive envirnoment for everyone from the seasoned artist to the absolute novice. Its much more than a class room or studio space, it is a community. When you take a class there you feel the sense of community & love of art. I highly recommend taking a class or at the very least come to one of the Art openings and see for yourself!
The staff was really friendly and great, I spoke to almost everyone working there that day!Aside from the great customer service, the store has a wide selection of materials and is clean and well organized. Its a pleasure to shop there and browse through everything.
The instructor was wonderful Jessica Smith. She was very helpful. This is my second class and I will be back,
Had such a great experience // though there was miscommunication with my teacher - the employees handled the situation very well, and went out of their way to go above and beyond. The guy who helped me out ( my receipt says associate 7846) was SUPER bomb. 10/10 for sure
I took this class last night and Nicole, our instructor is amazing! I live in the neighborhood and have passed by this place 100 times and wondered what went on in there.I recently bought fabric to make pillow covers- but I dont really know how to sew- I thought of hiring someone to do it, but its pricey and my sister (an excellent seamstress who lives overseas) suggested that I invest in some lessons and learn to do it myself.I feel confident using a machine now and I look forward to taking other classes!
Bought myself a screen printing class here for my birthday. It was great! Amanda ran us through the basics from burning the screen to pulling prints, and we had plenty of time to practice - I came away with a bushel of thsirts, notebooks, prints, etc. Of course, 3 hours flew by way too fast, I couldve stayed for a few more.
What a cool work and show space! There is nothing like being surrounded and inspired by other great artists and their work while you are working on your own art.Take a class and/or go see a show, or just stop in to see how cool the space is!!!You will be SO happy you did!
I love working at Art on 30th! The energy that comes out of here inspires me to create and makes for a great workplace. Thank you Kate Ashton for opening such a wonderful Artist Community in San Diego, It was a much needed addition to the art scene!!!!
Excellent representation of locale talent and focus on San Diego
