Went in there a couple months ago. Action is hit and miss. Good place to cruise if you want to provide a service. I like the theater. Im a serious voter and some nights it can be pretty active. Never had any trouble with anyone. Staff, patrons or LE.

I had gave jolars a 5 star before but now you get 1 star. Dont go there when Alicia is working . Shes has the tvs on mute. Cant hear anything. And I asked her twice to turn up the volume. And she said she didnt have anybody to cover get. So I said Ill turn them up myself. She said I prefer you not to. So if you dont want to hear women moaning why do you work at a adult theater store. Second point if u go anywhere to watch a movie u want to hear what is going on right ?? Worst experience ever at jolars and I have been coming here for years. Next time Ill call and find out whos working. Alicia sucks. Not good customer service

A little bit pricey for as ghetto as this place is, but there are definitely times where the client base is hot enough to make it worthwhile. It is $10 for the open theater rooms... You get access to both sides... Gay and straight apparently, but seemed pretty mixed. There was definitely action taking place, and seemed pretty laid back and comfortable. Not much harassment from the staff, which is nice.

My first time here was last week and i have literally been everyday since, some days twice. I love this place so much i applied for a job. The staff is great but no males working behind counter. Because the patrons are predominately homosexual/bisexual i recommend at least 1 male dancer for peep show (me). Also because there are many regulars a monthly or even annual pass would be AMAZING. Jolar is very clean and an all around awesome experience!

Went there with my girlfriend and she was harrased by the random people at the front. Many of then were making the both of us uncomfertable with by staring at us and one winking at her. And now it has spoiled our sex life

Ok jolar. I know whats good and what place is popular and so far you beat every single adult store here in san diego by far. You are the to go place. Cus if its not happeing anywhere else its happening at jolar. Now im giving you 5 stars but you gotta hurry up and invest a lil to gain a lot. I went in last week mid morning and had the greatest experience!The girl working counter was more than helpful! Great attitude, was able to answer questions and give advice on the products I was interested in.She maintained her composure even when the 20 question guy came in.Hats off to the staff thank you for everything and the I recommend this place to anybody. This is a kinda seedy location but they carry a variety of adult items from lube to sex dolls and gadgets. Prices are high and it cost $10 to visit the movie booths and the theatre in back. I have been several times but the janitor is often rude. It would like some hot guys like the reviewer Josh but no such luck in my day...

Wow. 1st experience here and I have to say the girl at the cashier was amazing. She knew exactly what I was talking about I wanted and showed me where it was. She was telling me about a situation she had just went this with a cyst prior to me coming in and she handled it very well I said. Amazing customer service. I think her name is rox Ann if I remember. Ill come back just cuz of her. And she is cute. Girl that can make u smile and has looks ...love it. 5 stars..only thing is that in the back one room had volume other one didnt.. I was in town early for the NCAA basketball tournament and decided to stop by. There was a young couple in the theater. The girl was too pretty to be in a place like this. They noticed me staring and motioned me over. The guy asked if I wanted to go play with his girlfriend and I said yes. We left the place and went back to his condo. She was visiting him on spring break and they were looking for fun. She was really tall and was built like a godess. She did things to me that I have never had done to me mostly by the direction of her bf. He sat back and watched us until she was done playing with me. Then he took his turn with her.
