Glad to see this business is open again with social distancing procedures. Mask are a must of course. Temp check at the door & hand sanitizer put into your hands at check in. Instead of hand stanping, you must take a selfie picture of you & your kid(s). Some games have been removed for social spacing but the most popular ones have stayed. Multi-player games have signage asking One family/person at a time. Hand sanitizing stations with social distancing markers for line waiting have been put up. They also have gone ticketless. Instead of collecting actual tickets, they are added to the play cards. If youve ever been to Dave & Busters, its the same concept. The stage/dance floor has new graphics with is lovely for the season. Unfortunately there isnt Chuck E. himself or any other characters there. Its understandable that he & his friends cannot come to play so there is no germ spreading that could possibly get them or others sick. With all of that, its good to be back and playing there again. Go check it out and have safely.

Got a pizza, crust was great, but thats really it. The green peppers were added after pizza was done. They werent cooked and were loose on the pizza. I literally saw an employee walk in with a grocery store produce bag of green peppers, at which point I had been waiting 20 minutes. Got my pizza a couple minutes later. Got churros too which were kinda chewy. Would give less stars if crust wasnt so good. I guess stick with basic or no toppings.

Nice spot to take the kids. Theyve got some unique animals here and its nice to think that they are doing some good.

My niece and her husband took their son and the family plus many there for Orens 5th birthday. Everyone had a great time. Chuck E. Cheese even made an appearance!

We felt rushed. Nothing was explained since we never have been there. Chaos. Our server was all over the place. Lack of organization. Kids loved it but it could have been much better. Chicken wings were so overpriced. In picture looked big portion but when we received it was half size. Pizza was good.

I had fun but the animatronics were no there thats why I went the should have shown a picture since its not there now but over all it was ok

So I hadnt been to this Chuck-E-Cheese location since about 2014, I recently saw that they had remodeled it and were launching a grand re-opening. I was invited to a birthday party at this location in San Bruno so I was expecting something better then what it used to be when I arrived. Back in 2014 when I last visited this Chuck-E-Cheese it was very unorganized, dirty, and the type a kids visiting this location were pretty rowdy and the parents just tend to not really parent their kids if you know what I mean. I much preferred a different location Chuck-E-Cheese which I felt was a much better environment for my kids. So with the grand opening launch again I expected it to be so much better but to my surprise its still a disappointment. Yes it is a lot cleaner obviously with it being remodeled and all but kind of disappointed that they removed the climbing tubing because it gave the children something more to do other than just keep playing games. To me the games at Chuck-E-Cheese are very boring and it seemed like every other game was basically the same thing just marketed in a different way. Within the first 45 minutes my kids were already bored and wanted to leave but because it was a birthday party I told them we had to stay. But they much rather go back home or better yet asked if we could go to a different kids location other than Chuck-E-Cheese. Theres a lot more entertaining kids playing locations being built nowadays that Chuck-E-Cheese is not really where a kid can be a kid and enjoy themselves. I myself used to enjoy going to Chuck-E-Cheese back when I was a child but its totally different from the Chuck-E-Cheese I grew up with to what it is now. Its disappointing only because it just seems theres really nothing to do other than to play these boring games over and over again just to get tickets and theres just not enough space in this location for kids to really run around and do stuff. Thats the thing about the tubing it gave children a place to roam around in and have a good time. now its just a bunch of games crammed into a somewhat small area. I just expected this Chuck-E-Cheese to be better and actually have some improvements that were worth coming to. as for me I will not be visiting this location again. my kids would much rather go to a public park then to go back to this Chuck-E-Cheese. And they are only a first grader and kindergartener, you would think theyd love this place.

Went there with my family and friends for my daughters Bday, the server that attend us was great. Gave him a great tip. The reason for the 3 stars was about a 1/3 of the games were broken and this is after a grand reopening remodel! Go figure

My toddler likes playing here, thats the beauty of this place, a designated zone for kids. However, its ran by toddlers too! There are a few nice members. Yet, the staff is mostly folks slacking off, too quick with excuses instead of producing solutions. More often than not, the facility is neglected with unsanitary bathrooms, dirty un-bussed tables, machines that dont get replenished with tickets, and you have to beg to be assisted. As a parent, its an annoying, expensive, and too often a frustrating experience. Thats a start, good luck dodging the kids with parents that neglect and ignore them, so youll get stuck parenting for the deadbeats.

I had my 3 year olds birthday party here on Saturday and everyone was fantastic! I’m really enjoying the new management and new team members they have now . I got a party planner that called me a day before the party to go over details . I was shocked and enjoyed the rundown . Our hostess was awesome, she was sweet and had patience with my kiddos . everything was perfectly planned from the timing of food to the cake and to get the kids back out for more play time . All of them deserve a raise ! They work very well together from what I saw . Thank you guys for making my daughters special day even more special.PS . I have had parties here in the past and really didn’t want to do it again since we had a bad experience with rude employees, fist fights .(customer VS worker ), dirty show area( once the whole stage was covered in trash and I mean the whole damn stage, so gross and embarrassing it was to have friends and family members show up to that & half the games were not working . The new management has changed up big time and I’m loving it .

Lame with no animatronics, play structure, fewer games. Lost a lot of what made it cool

I’ve been waiting for more than 1 hour for 2 large pepperoni pizzas. It is ridiculous how the service here is so horrible. I got my refund and left to go eat at Round Table instead. My kids are Hangry, and so are the adults.

Didnt really like chuck e. Cheese because of personal resons.. But went the other day with my 1 year old because grandparents took him.. And he enjoyed himself. Fun for kids, and adults if you make it fun. If youre with your kids its nice to spend time with them and play. Lots of stores nearby as well and different restraunts.

No I havent seen anymore malfunctions so far it, gives you the right amount of tickets, the pizza is really good, the Subway surfers gane gives you 3 chances also the prizes sr the prize corner are cool.

The pizza is actually good and is great place for kids they should have some more arcade games.

The San Bruno location is my favorite to take my toddler to. They staff is usually friendly and accommodating. She always has fun

I would give this place a couple more stars if they had stepping stools so the kids could reach the sink to wash their hands.

They did a little remodeling no more stage 4 Chucky they have a nice little middle area where the kids can step on fishes and lily pads its really nice they have a countdown for Chucky to come out and you can see the countdown on like maybe five or six screens. I wish they could add one more floor so you can add some more rides and games but Im like the new remodel .so thats why I give it 3 stars. but its still can need Improvement but like I said if they add another floor I think that Chuck-E-Cheese will be awesome..

Love that they have purchased time. Won lots of tickets for my nieces n nephew.

Everything was fine until I went to go eat the rest of my pizzait was gone they cleared the table while I was playing a game with my daughter two pieces of pizza in the clear the table and threw everything away

Seems they care much more about bottom line than customer service. I was given the runaround about a complaint about a specific machine. I wanted to get my credit back for the sake of principal. I find their empathy extremely lacking. On the other hand, my kids had fun. The only reason they got two stars instead of one.

Staff wasnt overly friendly. Made us move to a small table where we had to break up our party so we could accommodate the staff who were laying out paper plates and cups for a party the following day. They didnt even tip us or offer us a discount for accommodating their staff. They could use some customer service training. Otherwise place was clean, nice atmosphere, pizza was hot.

I went today to have some fun with my sister. Were still in our teens so I dont think its too weird for us to go & relive a part of our childhood.This place was like any other Chuck E. Cheeses, though it is a bit on the smaller size. Nonetheless, they still had plenty of fun games your choose from. The reason for my low rating is the staff. I had huge problems with them the entire time I was there. It first began with employees hovering over us the entire time we spent there. Eventually, it escalated to them interfering. One of the employees kicked me off a game & unplugged it because I was earning too many tickets (it was later plugged back in when they thought we had left). There was also another instance where a second employee was going to remove me from a different game, but didnt go through with it. The place wasnt packed so I wasnt hogging a machine. We were not creating havoc or rude to anyone. They honestly had no right to stalk us our entire stay. After we finished playing, we went to exchang our tickets for prizes from the front. The girl who attended us was extremely rude, she actually told us, youre done, go away.Overall, this has been the worst experience Ive had with a staff. Usually youd run into a few bad apples at a couple places, but pretty much everyone who was working was unpleasant. They made both my sister & I uncomfortable & the girl at the end really offended us. This is not the experience you want at a family friendly establishment.

Its not fancy like Dave and Busters but young kids love it. Most of the games are ones where you try to win tickets. There are only a few arcade games. There great thing about it is that it is a cheap way to entertain kids. $15 buys a lot of games.

Love this place one of my favorite things to do with all my kids

The kids had an awesome time. They took the jungle gym structure out and some of the small childrens games. It looks less congested. Chuckie came out took pictures with the kids. Chuckle performed with the children singing and some dance moves for them to learn. It was great and personal interaction with the children.They had so much fun. We will return even though some of the games are no longer there. You really didnt miss it.

As crowded as any Chuck E. Cheese, but their game area is VERY small compared to other locations. Not may of the games my son likes. Half the games were constantly out of tickets.

Favorite place to take the little one. Staff is outstanding. Super sweet guy, wish we got his name, behind the prize counter.

We visited around 11 am on weekday. Even if the place was not busy, we had to wait long to order foods and recharge our game cards. I believe the place is in middle of remodeling. Some machines were out of order. There were not many options for rewards

Went there for my daughters 1st birthday today, Thursday, May 30th. The place was filthy. We got there at 7:45pm, 1 hour and 15 mins before they closed. Ordered 2 pizzas. Found the one clean table left in the toddlers section. There were probably about 20 people in the whole place, not busy at all. At 8:40pm still no pizzas. Asked when they were coming, they realized they never gave the order to the kitchen, said they would be out shortly. They brought them out at about 8:50pm, 10 mins before they closed but gave them to a different table that was already getting ready to leave. Seriously??? I asked for the manager, got my money back and left. They had at least 5 people that we could see, not doing much the whole time. One young man was pretty much the only one that actually looked like he was working, he was do the register, then at the very end was the only one cleaning tables. Very disappointing, we have a new one year old child and use to bring our older child here all the time. But after this experience, we will not be back.

Chuck E. Cheese....can be amazing or terrible, all depends on the day of week and time of day you go. Also depends on what staff members are working. And if the games are working and if there are tickets, tokens and plenty of paper in the machines. The bathrooms are always super gross though . It is pretty affordable however I wish they would discount the food once it gets close to closing. Who wants to pay full price for All you can eat salad bar, 20 minutes before closing?

Well I went yesterday with some friends (one was the age of thirteen and two were 12 like me). Two of my friends were commenting on how the smell wasn’t pleasant and another one of my friends noticed that one of the animatronics was staring at us for a few minutes straight. We decided to record but once we took our phones out it looked away. A while later, one of the staff workers came up to us and asked for our age and told two of my friends (who weren’t playing games) that they could either stay or leave. They decided to leave which left me with one of my friends. The whole time we were getting weird looks from the staff probably because of our age and once we went to get our prizes the staff completely ignored our presence and then was rushing us to get our prizes.

Well this is my 3rd trip to this location in the past few months . they have a sign stating chuck e comes out every hour on the 30 so today i came at a little before 1:30 and no chuck e ...now after 2:30 and guess what still no chuck e ..this place is fun it cost a small fortune for the kids to have fun ..they have done away with the ball pit and the climbing tubes so the tots dont have much to do ...on the positive side at least the restroom was clean today which hardly happens at this location

Kids loved it, but they need more people to be working that would help with refilling tickets and making sure the place is running efficiently. Seems like a lot of people working but no one available to help with anything.

We brought our son here for his second birthday party. I called 2 weeks prior to make arrangements, put on the order large Paw Patrol Cake! We get there, first person to greet us was SO rude! Had to wait on our “host” when she finally came we went over our order and that’s when I realized they didn’t have the right cake!! Small round cake. Asked for the manager he was no help at all! The staff there is very unhelpful and rude! That was my first and last timeNEVER again!!

Great for kids under 10. Many of the games malfunction and tickets dont always come out. They should go ticketless like Dave and Busters. Food was ok, nothing out of the typical -pizza, chicken wings, salad bars - all the same as other places. They have a system where they stamp the kids and parents so someone just cant walk out with your kid. Well, thats the concept, but not really implemented. There isnt always a person to check. We come for birthdays only.

Kiddy fun

The key thing about Chuck E. Cheese is to know what youre getting into. If you think youre going to get amazing food, youre going to be disappointed. If you think the entertainment is actually going to be entertaining to adults, youre going to be disappointed. If you think the atmosphere is going to be pleasant, youre going to be disappointed. However, if youre bringing a couple of kids here, and you want a place that (1) is clean, (2) has tons of games and entertainment your children will enjoy, (3) has food your children will enjoy, and (4) has food that wont make you throw up, well, this place gets the job done. We went here for a friends childs fifth birthday, and my four year old had such a good time he wants to have his fifth birthday here.

I always loved their pizza. They have some fun games to play. Great place to have some fun with your children or your Inner-child. Very clean and attractive place to be in with Chuck E and the gang.

My children love it, but when is crowded not all the games work correctly and takes time to them to be fixed.

Cmon people, what do you expect? Its cheap fun for kids, not an upscale resort. Took my niece and nephew here for their birthdays, and Chuck himself came over to give them a hug. He could have definitely been more personable. Pizza looked yum. All in all, its a good place to bring your kids for a good time every now and then.
