Great monthly meeting. Nick Cataldo is the San Bernardino Historian.Dick Schaefer, the Historian of Loma Linda was our guest speaker for December. And tonight or speaker was James Valdez Jr and he was talking about the homecoming from World war 1 it focused on the significance of this important events in our countrys history which took place in February 1919. He focused invited anyone who had relatives who served in World war one to share and two ladies came and did share some very interesting heroic story. Next month March 7th local historian and author John Adams will discuss the history of the climate in the inland Empire which will include the historic flood of 1938 as well as his personal experience as a citrus grower and agriculturist seeing how and why many plants that used to be abundant are no more. and then in April cuz its always the third the first Thursday of every month April 4th will be 3rd generation California and local historian Richard McInnis will speak on the four founders of the fast food industry.
