I was a member (waayyy back in the 80s) joined the Army, now work for the Sheriffs Dept. I shoot competitively, so Id love to rejoin because I live so close. I guess Im on a waiting list ? (fingers crossed)

This place is the best firing range in southern California. Hosting both limited and full memberships, this is the top gun training center. Limited members are welcome to a 100meter rifle range, on cement shooting line, with shade cover, rifle benches and every bench has ambidextrous chairs. Rifle racks, and gear tables along the whole area. The pistol range has a 30 meter practice area, you can request steel swinging targets, and if you think youre that good, they have a stand at 100 meters. The range staff are great, polite, funny, friendly and all about the fun of the sport. Dont get me wrong if you start flagging folks or being stupid theyll put you in your place like anyone would, but the great thing is, they dont treat everyone like idiots. Shoot how you want, as fast as you want, just as long as you dont compromise safety. Short mags long hi-cap mags, no one cares. The full membership is difficult to obtain as there is a waiting list. You must also attend meetings twice a year. But Im sure the perks of private pistol ranges, private competition events and a 600 meter rifle range is enough for the price and the wait. I travel all the way from Orange County to go here, sure there are closer places, where they are crowded or you have to shoot slowly cause the range masters are agro and have to wait for a lane, this place always has a table for me even when it is crowded I never have to wait for an open lane. Note: you have to cross a creek bed to get to the range so low profile vehicles are not recommended and avoid crossing during heavy rainfall. I do believe you need to go as a guest with an existing member to purchase a limited membership. Be safe, shoot safe and protect your right to shoot!

Best range in CA. It is beautiful and a super place to shoot. We have taken family and friends there and will continue to do so. We will be the last range standing.

Been coming here since i was a little kid. great place to shoot PAST 25 yards(in-door ref). i love the fact that its private and you can come at anytime (when youre a full member). its really nice to come out on a friday night in the summer. huge selling point: you dont have to worry about people flagging you. Or wondering if they just came from the gun store w/ their new pistol/rifle and trying to figure out how to use it. people are awesome and there are a few SOT/FFL that come out with the good stuff.

Ive shot there many times, its an awesome place. Im finally going to become a full member this year.

Love this range was there on Friday and I left a ammo box with 420 rounds 5.56 at my bench at 10 am went back at 3:30 pm to see if anyone had turned it in and thank God there are honest people in this world they had it in safe keeping for me at any other range I would have been out of luck

Great SASS Club, West End and Burro Canyon Regulators. They people there are great.
