As they say, they have been there since the car was new. This is a great art supply store that has been around for a very long time. Whatever your medium, they have what you need. I dont know if it actually is but I would think Bud Rickerts is world famous by now. They also have very well thought art classes for those who want to learn how to create art or for those who just might want to sharpen their skills.

One of the best art supply stores ever. A place where an artist can come and leave with more then supplies. Ideas and concepts rich in history. This place is a part of what makes San Bernardino special.

Wonderful place!! They have everything here that you would find in the big pallet stores but with better prices and an expertise that extends far beyond anything you would find outside of an Ivy League College. Remarkable framing here as well. I believe the owners were two of Walt Disneys original animators and the son, DOUG is who had it now.

The owner, Doug Rickert, not only has an in-depth knowledge of everything he sells, he is an expert at framing and restoration of your art pieces. I took a work by my daughter--a kind of amateurish expression of color and light, and Doug framed it in a way that shows off its best qualities of vibrancy, color, and contrast. Doug is also a historian, having grown up in the area, and knows much more about the local history than most residents. He always has one or more of his personal restoration projects on display in the store. The front of the store is adorned with tile art depicting the same classic car he drives to the store every day. And youll be surprised how much Doug knows about classic cars, too.

My favorite art store. I love that it is so old school with its handwritten receipts, dated cash register, and simple interior. I love that it has such high quality art supplies, including pencils, paints, and frames. I love that the gentleman who works there (or perhaps he owns the place) is so kind and friendly and helpful.

Bud rickerts Art Center is one of the few places in the country where one can purchase staedtler watercolor pencils individually I love this place
