What a horribly run soccer club. I have coached, played, and even refereed soccer all my life and they chaos and disorganization of this organization is astounding. DO NOT send your son or daughter here if they need guidance and nurturing. Not. Worth. The. Money.Send them to a YMCA over the shoddy leadership of this organization. With that being said I will explain this on all social media platforms as well as any parent that wants their child to play soccer here. Do not do it.
Rude, aggressive parents. running around yelling at everyone
Loving the fields, currently with Small Goal Soccer and it has been a great season, y’all come out and jump on the pitch!
Very good
Great fields well maintained
Great Club... fields are great
Some of the coaches are rude and do not have good sportsmanship. I want my kids to learn soccer but also learn how to work with team in a fair way and coach play an important role in this. Apparently our coach just want to win the game but not focus on character building. Wasted time and money with this club.
Nice well kept fields. Parking not great. There are only port a potties so if you havent been to this field make sure players are changed and ready to play.
CE is a great fit for our family! The club culture is competitive, but not at the expense of player character development. I’ve seen my daughter grow as a person and as a soccer player since joining CE. I feel like CE is preparing my daughter for life, even if she never plays college soccer. (Although, CE appears very committed to finding college soccer opportunities, appropriate to ability, if the player is interested.) I’m very happy with the coaching staff. The coaches have high, but reasonable expectations on and off the field. These expectations include both parent and player conduct. In my experience, we have a great group of parents and parent managers who are very involved, proactively addressing any behaviors which might adversely effect the team. My daughter’s team often travels as a group when playing outside of San Antonio. I appreciate that the club requires appropriate attire and behavior when traveling, e.g., on team buses, at hotels, at restaurants, on the sidelines, etc. At tryouts I’ve seen players move up to more competitive teams. I’ve also seen players relegated to less competitive teams after tryouts. There are opportunities for growth at CE, as well as some positive pressure to maintain a level of performance. Like any competitive soccer club, parents and players get out of it what they put into it. Competitive soccer at any club is not a commitment to be taken lightly. Your child’s participation will effect almost every aspect of your life, e.g., work, vacations, meals, other sports, and academic interests. It’s totally doable, though. Both the tangible and intangible benefits of competitive sports are well worth it from my perspective. Whether your child is already playing competitive soccer or is just starting out, CE is definitely worth considering!
Beautiful fields. You can walk barefoot on the cool grass, if you wanted. Two playscapes for the little ones, and a walking path. Areas with shade, for those hot days. Not happy with the portapotties, but that is a minor thing. The coaches are excellent. Polite and positive, they work on specific skills for each player to help them improve, no matter the age.
Great club & coaches. My son has progressed so much since being with them. Out of all the clubs that we dealt with, this one is the best & the fields are nice too
The organization of the black and blue tournament was awful. We win we lose, thats fine by me but at least play and coach and organize your tournament by the rules. A lot of the refs were inconsistent and not in the same page. Above everything one of the Elites head coaches chose to cross the field during a game and tell our parents to, shut it when voicing our opinions on the play calling. My experience was awful and I for one will not register my child in an Elite tourney again.
Beautiful fields. Well organized, and well maintained.
Fields arent bad. Restrooms not so nice.
Hot hot hot but well kept fields
You can play soccer here.
The classic elite staff are rude and disrespectful to the parents. some of the coaches treat the soccer students with insults and rudeness, the team managers dont respond in time when you need important information as they are volunteers... I quit Classic Elite because of this and will not recommend anyone sending their kid to Classic Elite...
Girls had a great soccer tournament
Soccer
Loved it.
