This pub is an excellent establishment that is filled with friendly people of all ethnicities. The Karoke VJS are very personable promoting clean fun. Drinks are very reasonable and the establishment has popcorn and other finger foods to help with a home like comfort. I have thoroughly enjoyed myself every time I have gone.

This place. I cant give it enough stars. It doesnt look like much from the outside, but the kareoke on thursdays and the weekend, free food during the days (with a purchase of a drink), and the fun atmosphere of mixed comoany cant be matched by any other place in town. I took my friend one time (he thinks hes mr cool) and his first reaction was that this wasnt his scene. By the end of the night we were dancing and singing with half the bar and enjoying cold beer and amazing mixed drinks!!

A bar for those who want a family away from home. For those who love to be humbled. My favorite! The younger generation just doesnt know whats important, connections that last, love that sticks. I enjoy the warm welcome. God bless!

This place is the worst bar in San Antonio, bartender Debbie is horrible. Tonight is a Spurs playoff game and I asked repeatedly to turn off jukebox that was randomly playing so that we could hear the Spurs game. She allowed the one other person here in this sad bar to put money in the juke box although I complained numerous times. The only reason we were even in this raunchy trashy bar was for a pool league game. But every other bar in SA has definitely got the game on and sound going. What is wrong with this place!! Ridiculous!!Go Spurs Go!!!

Bar is small and needs work but the bartenders are great and take care of the customers well. They always have live music and pool is free! Drinks can be pricey but you cant beat the comfort and friendly atmosphere of this establishment. Mature, friendly, competent.

There is no better place in San Antonio to karaoke. Awesome sound, great staff, and the people here are amazing. Im from El Paso and whenever Im anywhere close by I make sure to stop by and get my karaoke fix.

My type of bar. Just like a good Honky Tonk. Very common crowd of hard working people . Great fun Thursday night. Till Sunday. Bikers,Cowboys,Construction Workers,Business Owners & Workers. Real great crowd. Also a few SnowFlakes but we all get along. Mostly a older crowd who like Country music. One of the Honky Tonks in San Antonio. Best one. Waitress all friendly

I very glad I just walked into this place by accident just wanting a drink because I was thirsty. They have great bartenders there and wonderful customers. I have not met any snobs there yet. Wonderful Jam sessions Thurs and Sundays. I have not been to the Friday night Jam sessions. I heard they do have them. Wed and Sat are Karokee nights. They have alot of great singers and dancing and the people just have a great time there. I highly recommend Make my Day.

My best friend invited my husband and I to this place about 6-7 months ago and we have barely missed a single Thursday night since. Bobby Beal (Painted Pony), Vince (Jokester) and the rest of the crew really give all they have when on stage just for the love of the music and those who attend. Thursdays have been open mic night for the past 7 years and the best thing is you never know who will show up to jam (Carlos and the Feral Cats are the SHIZ!). There have been lots of talented artists who show up to jam and if it werent for Thursday nights at Make My Day I would never have known about many of them.The staff is GREAT, thanks Lawrence for hiring such great ladies as Debbie and Veronica and the rest of the staff. They are always friendly and on top of the game. Anyone who does not venture into this place at least ONE time on a Thursday night is missing one of the best nights of their lives out on the town in San Antonio. I could go on and on! I just love going to Make My Day Lounge. It happens to be Wednesday and I am looking forward to tomorrow!
