What a gorgeous place! Something for everyone: beautifully landscaped, baseball fields, skateboard area, nice restrooms, playground equipment (currently off limits because of COVID), parking, and gobs of room for you and your dogs to gather and play! If I could have one wish, it would be for some seating (chairs or benches) in various places, since all the seating is ground only, which is often damp. Otherwise, this is a wonderful spot, especially on a hot summer day, since the abundant trees make it at least 10 degrees cooler there!

Kids love climbing on the dinosaur. Great castle themed playground for toddlers and kids of all ages.

Lots of local summer organized activities for kids. Great setting. Well maintained. Town is very fortunate to have such a park.

This park has an amazing wood castle as its play structure. It also has a small sized one for toddlers. Also has a nice swing set, which includes a tire swing. There is also a baseball/ softball field. Very cool park for children and adults.

Nice big enclosed space with lots of room to run, play games or be alone. Two areas: toddler and big kid friendly, clean bathrooms, enough parking, picnic tables, plaza nearby.

What a great park! A perfect place for kids to play, make friends and run around! There is an ENORMOUS play structure for bigger kids and a smaller one for little tots. The main playground has this really cool dinosaur themed sandbox. Finish it off with a big field and a baseball diamond and youre set. Parent pro-tip; bring a snack for you and the kids because youre gonna be there for a while. If you didnt theres the Red Hill shopping plaza within walking distance for a coffee or fro-yo. Theres also a really cool Veterans lodge for private events.

Our 17 month old had a blast here going down all the slides. I love how it is pretty toddler proof (no crazy drop offs like a lot of other parks). It wasnt as nerve racking watching him at this park and we all had a lot of fun...parents included!

This has always been a favorite park for me to bring the kids I take care of. It is great for all ages and many activities and you cant beat the unique play structure!

Memorial Park is one of the best places to take kids in San Anselmo. There are year round sports Being played on the 3 baseball/softball fields and soccer in between. There is a playground for kids and a shopping center and great bar within walking distance.

This is one of the best playgrounds in Marin. The only downside is that it has wood chips as the play surface.

It was pretty cool and ok I like that it has a lot of parking and grass the kids are a lot of which is kind of nice for me but the bathroom was alright I was pretty happy to see it at first then went for a slide and swing with friends and taking lots of pictures at the nice scenery if you like to try it I would say see for yourself if you enjoy your day there its pretty coolest park Ive ever been in a while.

A great park, but we have found broken glass in the sandbox. As long as you avoid that it’s great fun.

The baseball park for San Anselmo...good for picnic too....lots of kids....locals and dogs.....also home of the VFW Log Cabin bR and hang out

Unfortunately, I could not find any parking-- not even handicapped -- to access this Park. It might be a nice place to hang out but I sure couldnt tell.

I grew up across the street from this park in the 80s. Its been nice watching this park evolve from the objectively dangerous jungle gym and old tractor tires that passed as play structures to the magic castle adventure they have now. I cant wait for my son to enjoy this park as well.

Super cute park with a lot of great stuff! Dinosaur to crawl on, tire swing, castle! What more could you want. Large grassy area and decent parking. Bathrooms are what you expect but at least well stocked.

San Anselmo Memorial Park is a totally awesome place to be at, I can spend hours there & I will be in heaven. laying there on the grass looking up @ the night sky. full of stars & some day my handsome clean shaved prince will come & wisk me away far away from here. & I will be content & happy. Whenever I do sleep. hope my dream place will come true. before I do sign off. This is what i say to myself & others as well One thing I do know. Im surprised this park is not better maintained. The fields are acceptable but the playground is designed like a maze and contains an acutely irritating mix of bark and sand. The slides on the tot side dont reach all the way to the ground, giving your kid a high chance of getting hurt. And the swings squeal so much, my mother thought it was a bird singing.

Theres an awesome dinosaur that kids love climbing on. The big kids section and little kids sections are well separated. I would warn that theres no gate on either section.

The play structures are wonderful! There are always other families around for our children to play with.Watch out for the robotic head/door, weve known a couple bigger boys (9-10) bump their heads running because they overestimate the clearance.

A Good place to go and bring your family to reserve a spot and make a party in the Fresh open space of memorial park.

This park is epic. Playground is a massive castle-like structure with Dungeons and slides fake dinosaur sand pits and swings. Where were these when I was a kid!

The playground is magical and closed off with a fence: one entrance/exit. Todd yard next to bigger yard. Very large area with picnic tables, perfect for parties. Baseball fields, grassy fields, gymbree place right next.

I went here in 1967 to fly kites. Looks pretty much the same, added tennis courts.

An okay place to hide from the traffic for a while.

Cute little park walking distance from several shops and restaurants. If youre a Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark fan, this is a must see as Yoda and Indiana Jones adorn the fountain.

Wwonderful play structure for little kids. Park benches, bathrooms, if you are a mom with small children this place is a must.
