Love the views from the upper park and the walk down through the walkway or stairs is so nice to end at the community gardens to see home grown vegetables & flowers among them

I took my son here for the first time and wished we’ve gone here a lot sooner. This park has a few things to offer. Great pavilion, skate park, kiddie park and splash pad on warmer days, walking trails, great views, YMCA and very safe, police station on site.Park in the lower commons if you want to enjoy the short walking trail, kiddie park and splash pad. Park by the YMCA for the skate park which is open 24hrs. For parents there is a lot of spots to wait for you kids while they play. This park is very clean, well maintained and everyone that goes here are very respectful and friendly.

Excellent place to hangout, watch the sun set

Theres a mushroom-shapes spiny thing that only works for taller people, and you need a good grip or youll get thrown off. However, a smaller spiny thing on the other side of the playground is much easier to use, and quite fun.

Love this little park. Its in a convenient location as it is close to the YMCA, the library and City Hall. It has a playground for kids to play in with slides, swings (inc. baby swings) and other things that kids can climb up to. It also has a water splash pad, two sheltered picnic areas with picnic tables and grills, and some unsheltered picnic tables, lots of open green spaces for picnicking, a partial paved trail that loops around the park where you can go for a walk, run, jog, walk your dog, bring a baby stroller and even bike on it.It also has two clean Honey Buckets. It is very well maintained and it is also clean. I rated it 4 stars because part of the water splash pad, the water fountain has not been working in a long time. Several people have reported it to the city several months ago to get it fixed but it still not operational.

This is such a nice place for a walk and fresh air. Its so well maintained and makes living in Sammamish a little more enjoyable.

Beautiful park. Empty, except for a few joggers, most times Im there. Amazing view from one bench in the park thats been dedicated to someone. I hope I have such a beautiful view dedicated when I pass.

My favourite walking path.

Great for walks. paved path goes through the entire park, feels pretty secluded and quiet. at bottom there is a nice basic play area with a small spray park in the summer. Not really much flat grass areas for sports. parking is on two sides of the park and is shared by the ymca and library but if that is full drive to the other side.

A great sledding spot when it does snow. Take the family!

This is a great place we have all Sammamish events here and the lower commons is a very big scenic park we live it here

Good Park. Trail is short. You can rent the pavilions.

Great for younger children. There is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the splash pad.

Parking could be much better, but this is otherwise a great spot with plentiful amenities, water play for the kids, nice covered picnic area, and fun playground.

Became even better once Community Center has been built and the park connected with the uphill area.

Its the place to go in Sammamish, ymca is there all city event happen there so its great

Library and Skate park with wide open area with a park and field to do whatever within the K-9 age group. Mainly if safety is a concern send your kid there. Cameras everywhere to help prevent it. Decent staff with the Sammamish P.D. from the few brief encounters which says their isnt much for them to do besides the average DUI or traffic tickets on the regular. SPD uses the Issaquah Municipal Court District with majoriy of the offenses and has a transfer policy for offenders to be housed at Seattle Jail for Felony based or whenever Issaquah Jail is full which is more than usual which is for the Misdemeanor charges.Also a YMCA with a pool. Dont know much about the new facility.
