Beautiful venue! Great concert. We traveled from Oklahoma to see Mandolin Orange and had a fabulous weekend. Fun downtown. Way to go on making this theater classic, classy and beautiful.The toilet stalls are tiny, tiny. If you have more than 20 extra pounds youll want to find a handicap stall.

This was the 2nd time at Stiefel, the acoustics are awesome! This is a well run restored theater that originally opened in 1931. I highly recommend this venue, my wife and I drove almost 3 hours to attend the KC and the Sunshine Band concert the place was jumping!

The Stiefel Theater was built in 1931 and is 100% art deco! They did renovations back in 2003 with gold leaf enhancement throughout the theater and a beautiful grand staircase up to the 2nd floor (but there is no elevator) dont forget to look up at the amazing chandeliers and artwork also upstairs theres a gigantic star like chandelier BEAUTIFUL!) The fantastic stone work all along the outside of the building is just as beautiful as the inside.This theater is a must see...

This venue is a gem for the entire region. The performances that the Executive Director gets are really incredible. I cannot recommend it more! Go as soon as you can.

Nice smaller theatre, saw 3 doors down, was a great show with great sound. Drink prices were a bit high $6 a beer, $7 for a small mixes drink. But all in all a great place to see a show.

Nice theater but goodness gracious turn the heat down!! We were seated in the balcony and it was uncomfortably hot. The other problem i had was my seat had a light on the outside to light up the steps Im not sure if the cover was gone or what but it was burning my leg by the time the concert was over. We will be back next Friday for the Indigo girls

I think Stiefel is one of the premier concert venues in Kansas. Its intimate, yet large enough for a good crowd. The sound is phenomenal. I have seen a variety of shows there and have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking has never been an issue. I love this place... Always worth the drive from Wichita.

The theater is such a hidden gem in downtown Salina! This was my first visit to see Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, but the ushers were awesome and there was a bathroom attendant to keep the line flowing efficiently for the ladies room. Construction happening downstairs off the lobby, but they made the best of the space as they could in the circumstances. Great view in the balcony and wonderful acoustics.

It was amazing! My first time seeing a show here. The building is beautiful. The sound and seats were great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lindsey Buckingham, of course, was perfect! Cant wait to see other shows here!

Easter Sunday Service by Emmanuel Foursquare Church was amazing. You could feel the Lords presence. The worship team and actors get a 5 star performance . He is Risen.

A 1940s renovated theatre, now a concert venue. Acts that have played there include: Toto, Kansas, 38 Special, Donald Fagen, Ann Wilson, Split Lip Rayfield, The Black Crowes, Los Lobos, Stills & Nash, Roger Daltry. Tickets are a little pricey.

The Stiefel Theatre is wonderful. They offer a wonderful atmosphere with beverages and food. Very elegant structure and the seating is great they have a back row level balcony so not a bad seat in the house. They also offer elevators access.

Iv been to the Stiefel for several concerts and never tire of its beauty. The acoustics is wonderful and there isnt a bad seat in the house. Its mannes by volunteers who obviously love being there.If you have an opportunity to visit this wonderful venue, by all means do.

Beautiful venue! You can really see the performers play because it is not a huge arena!

This 1200-seat theatre feels very intimate. Despite sitting 3 rows from the back of the balcony, we could still see facial expressions on stage, and the sound was great. View of the stage appeared to be excellent from every seat. Staff was very friendly and low-key. Its easy to find.The building isnt as fancy as some of the Orpheum theatres that Ive visited. Theres only one restroom per gender and one working drinking fountain. Legroom for balcony seats was barely adequate for 62. Parking is scattered throughout the area in many small surface lots, although we had no trouble finding a space 30 minutes before the show.Id definitely see a show there again.

It was ok, security could have been nicer/ polite ..that brought the place down a bit.

Get place for see artists and acts you love. Seats 5000 only. Used to be an old movie house theater. Great old decor. Great acoustics as well. Has a balcony. Parking can be challenging if your running late. Best to get their early and park out front. Great italian restaurant across the street as well. I watched one of my favorite bands play here and it was a fantastic experience.

Great venue for live music!

Weve traveled to Salina twice for concerts in the Stiefel. Both times were sweltering hot days outside. The place was cool, lots of volunteers to help find our seats. We really like the character of the place. My biggest suggestion would be to sell water separately from the other drinks. The drink (beer/liquor) lines were quite long and we gave up.

Great venue for an outstanding concert. The Stiefel Theatre is a true jewel in the middle of Kansas.

The comedy show I saw last night was put together wonderfully. The organization and flow of traffic both outside and inside the building was well controlled and was constantly at a quick pace. The end of the show and the crowd control was handled just as well as before the show.

Wish they had an elevator for us handicap people to use to go upstairs to get tickets.as it is now you have to have the girl come down the stairs to meet you and then go back up and then come back down.Also wish they didnt allow alcohol in the place for one concert 3 people were drunk and acted out.had to have the security cool them down.before they got cooled down they were rude very rude.they absolutly ruined the concert acting like they did.

This restored theater is hands-down a gift to music lovers. I took my mom to see Gordon Lightfoot and we sat center stage in the 4th row. Excellent show. Great sound. A year later I took my wife to see Elvis Monroe and 3 Doors Down. We sat on the right wing in the 1st row. Excellent show. Great sound. I would recommend spending the difference to get the seats in the first few rows. Not because of acoustics or field of view, because I doubt theres a bad seat in the theater. Rather, the venue lends itself to intimacy with the performers and the front few rows absolutely enhance that experience. This is how performing artists should be observed practicing their crafts.

As w the Doobie Brother phenomenal performance in a great atmosphere. Sat in the Balcony and saw very well. Sound and acoustics great. Great venue for concerts.

Sound seemed distorted by shouting too loudly into microphones. Really love Second City, but trouble understanding several of the women.

Friendly attendants, comfortable seating, selection of shows and concerts are spectacular! Always enjoy coming here.

Awesome theater for concerts and entertainment. Spears to be recently remodeled. With the slopped seating, there is not a bad seat in the house. Lots of shops and restaurants in the blocks around it go early and check them out.
