We were able to call in and book two rooms for the same time. Very nice people and very fun rooms! We barely finished our room, using all the help we could get. And the other group did not complete it. So, it was a nice challenge. A wonderful escape from the problems of today. Highly recommend!

We had a group of 6 to start and it was all of our first time doing an escape room. We had booked the Doc Jones room and loved our experience so much we decided to do the Sherlock room immediately afterwards (and invite two more friends)! Our host, Amanda, was so fun and made the experience very memorable (and what a good host for being willing to stay late so we could do another room)! We will definitely be back soon to do the Asylum room. Thank you Escape Tech, you have made fans of us for life! Seriously a super fun time. Highly recommended.

The escape room was so fun and the staff was friendly and helpful! The room was difficult to escape from but not so much that it was overwhelming. They have made a perfect balance! It was a great time with good friends!

End to end, had a really wonderful experience with Escape Tech. They were responsive, accommodating and overall easy to work with. We didnt know what we were getting into in this virtual setting, but were so pleasantly surprised when we had 2 dedicated associates acting as our eyes and ears to help navigate through the event. We did the Asylum escape. It was definitely an experience to be remembered. We made it out with a few clues and hints along the way :-) First time doing an escape room - looking forward to coming back and trying their other adventures! Also really cool location downtown and use of the space in the building!

This is the first experience for us, group of 70s year olds, in any escape room. The virtual room was so well run, the two staff helping us, so good and so patient, we are ready to do another one. And we even escaped with 50 secs left on the clock. Kudos to a first class job!!

Oh my goodness! This place is amazing! My family and I booked an escape room from Escape Tech (our first escape room experience) online and were super excited for it! The online booking experience was really easy and the email confirmations and reminders were reassuring. The day of the experience, we arrived and were kindly greeted. We all sat and listened to the rules and what not about our escape room, joking with the woman who hosted and ran our experience. She took us into the room and we began our experience! It was so much fun and enjoyable. We were all able to work together and we made it our of room with time to spare. Everything from booking the experience to actually participating in the room was enjoyable. We will be back and are excited to try another room offered by Escape Tech! Thank you!

This place is fun. Been here twice and they have done the Indiana Jones room and Insane Asylum room. The rooms are just challenging enough to keep you busy but easy enough to barely escape in time. The staff will give you clues on a monitor if you ask.

We booked two escape rooms for our office team bonding event. We booked Sherlocks Mystery and Dr. Jones Study Heist and both were so much fun. We all enjoyed ourselves and definitely recommend Escape Tech. The staff did an excellent job at creating an awesome experience while we were in the rooms. Thank you for such a great time.

It was such an exciting experience and I HIGHLY recommend this place!! My son turned 18 and brought along a few friends of his and surprised them with Dr. Jones themed escape room. 1 hour to figure out how to get out of the room with all sorts of fun puzzles and some make make you REALLY use your head and perhaps a little more than you should but altogether an excellent experience!! Perfect for any occasion and the staff there are kick@$$!!! Thanks again for the memories!

I have been to EscapeTech 3 times so far and I have not been disappointed. The 3 rooms that I have done have been fun, challenging, and greatly themed and put together. The group I went to have all always been excited and had fun doing the rooms. All different people each time. I greatly enjoyed the rooms and the way the items are laid out to make you work as a team and to fight together against time in order to escape the room and impending doom. Recommend it to any and all people who are alive, like a challenge, and like to have fun with friends. I say friends, because you will need all the hands and brains you can get inside the rooms to escape together.

Great experience for our entire family. Our kids range in age from 8-14 and we all had a great time. Hunter was very knowledgeable and an awesome host. We look forward to going again soon.

Experience was pretty lame. Our group wasted 20 minutes because one of the instructions was to not move anything against the wall, so we didnt, but guess what? You were supposed to move something against the wall to get to the code...There are zero visual cues for the customer to know what should be static and what is fair game. You just get a 10 minute spiel from the host and youre off to your game. Youre in this room where some crazy person has writing all over stuff and they give you writing that youre supposed to follow from the game master. There is no visual representation that tells the player hey this is part of the game. Please look into reading about UX design.There is very little ingenuity here. Everything is Get this 3 to 5 digit code. Ever played a game of Zelda? What taking some ideas from even Jigsaw himself (not so gruesome/crazy/harmful)? Seen any good movies at all? There was no see this pattern., Move this with the magnet, redirect this light, etc. no real decoding that isnt just a riddle. Ive been to a few escape rooms now and this one has been probably the worst. Even worse than one of these side ones done by some moms from a church for a charity for a fraction of the price we paid here! Come here if all you want are some simple riddles I guess.Also, for the love of god, if youre going to base the game around using flashlights and uv lights, PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE AT 50%+ BATTERY LIFE! We had a group of 5 and only 2 flashlights and 1 uv light were worth a damn.

One of only two escape rooms in town. The more competitively priced of the two, the lady setting up the room was very pleasant and explained all of the rules and directions for the game. The room was a horror theme based in a psycho ward, utilizing various elements and puzzles to work towards the final mystery of the room, with surprises along the way. Like most escape rooms, moderate sized parties of 4 or so is ideal.

It was an amazing, friendly experience! Staff was fun and helpful. It was well organized. A group of four people were able to complete the Doctor Jones room within the allotted time. Highly recommend EscapeTech.

Best escape room I have done yet. The staff was very friendly and was able to squeeze in my party in last minute which was really nice of them. Puzzle were challenging but not impossible.

Did the Doctor Jones Study room. The countdown clock / text communication board was great. The puzzles were good overall, but sometimes lacking in execution. In particular, (no spoiler here, as you are told this at the beginning), everything has to do with black light. However, you only get one black light flashlight, and turning off the main lights frequently to use it diminishes the ability for multiple people to solve puzzles in parallel. Also, the flashlight only functioned intermittently, and several of the clues had extra fluorescent paint splotches or inconsistent marks or not enough paint that added difficulty where it wasnt appreciated. The room has obviously been improved over time, and it seems like with a few more improvements in execution it could be awesome.

Have come here multiple times- SUPER FUN! The staff really makes the experience too, and each time Ive been here Id really thought highly of those running the place or running our room. The rooms are updated frequently, and the whole experience is totally worth it!

This was my first time doing an escape room. I went with my family, and we had a ton of fun! We did the Doctor Jones study escape room. MacKenzie was a great host and we now have a great family memory to share with each other and our friends!

My office-mates and I were given a Groupon to do the Dr Joness Study adventure and we all agreed it was a fantastic time! We all got very into it, which you couldnt help but do, as it just draws you into the fun! The puzzles and riddles were very entertaining and we were able to solve it (with a few clues on the screen) with ten minutes to spare.Its a great exercise in team-building and I recommend it highly to anyone who wants to foster a team... Or to anyone who just wants to have a unique, fun time with a group of friends!!!

Our team recently had the pleasure of being trapped in Sherlocks Study (which proved a little too difficult for our group, but we almost made it out...)Hunter and Cheri were professional and friendly, taking the time to explain the ground rules, answer questions, and offer feedback before/after the experience. Cant wait to go back for their two other rooms (Dr. Joness room and the Insane Asylum!).Highly recommended having for a fun time with friends, co-workers, or just about anyone you dont mind be trapped in a room with for an hour (claustrophobics and fire marshalls fyi: youre not REALLY locked in by the way, so dont panic and enjoy the experience!)

Had a very unpleasant experience with this company. Found out they were open on Sunday and tried to book an event with them. Groupon code did not work. Called multiple times to try and figure out how to go about this; no answer. Checked to ensure that they were indeed open, but still no answer. Had to contact Groupon to return the code. They had to apologize and said that they were going to contact the company. After all of this trouble, we went to the building and tried to schedule an event in person. After some time of not being able to enter the building, we finally got in. No one at their office. Very upset since we were very excited to try it out. Portland here we come.
