A pleasant coffee shop with friendly staff and lots of space. They take pride in their coffee and it shows. We had an iced mocha and hot mocha. Very tasty!

I have always believed in quality over quantity, and coffee isnt an exception to that rule.Quality expresses itself in many ways over at IKE Box Café- from the friendly and helpful baristas, to the coffee and calming interior, with the availability of milk alternatives to the syrup varieties. My new favorite spot to go for a quiet work place! The Apple cider I tried was so good. Also everything is spaced way out for COVID reasons Im sure but it just made it feel more comfortable and conducive to my productivity. I will for sure be back!

My daughter and I were exploring more of Salem then weve seen and decided to find a coffee house. We walked a few blocks and it was well worth it. The prices are average but the coffee was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and comforting. They have multiple choices of seats from a chair and table to a comfy couch in the corner with a few private areas you can choose from as well. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. Whenever were in the area again we will have to stop by for another delicious frappe.

Good quality coffee from around the world (even had Rwandan coffee). Went on a Sunday and the baked goods selection was bad, I can only assume this was because it was late on a weekend.Gorgeous space, it looks like they do love music here. Worth a stop for coffee.

The best thing about Ike Box is the space. Lovely historic building downtown Salem, Oregon. My opinion is that its more of a Fall and Winter place to visit because of the cozy ambiance. Staff that took my order today were very pleasant and my coffee was made quickly. A mix of people come here. Still undecided about how I feel about the espresso shots. Ive loved Sisters Coffee in the past but today its just ok.I came here today in search of a coffee house that was warm as I am tired of Starbucks blasting their AC in every lounge. Ike Box seems like a promising, comfortable alternative for this Fall.

Good cuppa. Comfy chairs. Big open room, but still cozy. Stage for shows. Tables for gaming or work/crafts. Kinda spendy. Kinda vintage worn. Pay parking.

First, the coffee is really very good. They serve Sisters Coffee which is always perfectly roasted, and never having a burned taste. After that, the place is cozy and the staff are warm, friendly and efficient. A great place to meet friends in the morning!

This place is beautiful. And they happen to have fantastic coffee as well.

Place was a bit hard to find as there wasnt a clear sign from what I saw. I liked our drinks but my bacon cheese scone was dry throughout and hard on one side. I think the story and the cause that started it all is heartwarming though. Building is huge, can accommodate groups. Has a place for live music as well.

Prices comparable to other local coffee shops. There is a parking lot but it is usually full during the day time. There is street parking at $1.50 an hour. Would recccomend biking (bike rack in front) or walking if possible.Quick service. To-go and sustainable, for-here containers for food & drink. Allows (or at least has not complained) about outside food & drink.Staff is extremely helpful. The outlets are all two-pronged and they modified a powerstrip so it could plug in and I could charge my laptop.

Its like your living room in a auditorium for the wise. Always a steady flow of gemmed coffee goers but consistently quick to meet your needs. Wish more vegan options were available but Hummus and a toasted everything bagel with the sisters brew is on point.

Coffee shop is established in a building that was previously a funeral home. No spooky feelings when entering. Coffee is good. Coffee and round available for chat and games. Can be noisy, which is why the 4 grade. Also steps on entry make it harder for those who have canned or walkers.

As always Ike box Cafe good decaf coffee marvelous service amiable employees and I love the pastries. Im also able to navigate there seating area very easily with my Walker there are no obstacles and people are very courteous in giving me room to get around.Its nice to be able to carry on a conversation and not have the other tables conversation overshadowing yours.

This is my fave coffee shop in Salem. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the pull drinks quickly, so even when theres a line it goes fast. Ike Box not only has a great mission, they also have community rooms available for use, live music, and are overall a wonderful environment to work, study, or enjoy.

I was pretty disappointed with the this place. I ordered a mocha that ended up being just chocolate milk, no coffee at all. The pastrie I ordered was also very dry and stale. The staff extreamly friendly and helpful though and the building inside was beautiful. I really hope I just caught them on an off day

What a fantastic surprise to find Ike Box in Salem, especially on a day when most coffee shops were closed due to a city-wide water advisory (they have their own water filtration system). I drove by it the first time, as it appears to be a warehouse next to the YMCA. The inside was a wonderful surprise: spacious, with painted frescoes and comfortable seating. And GREAT coffee!

Nice, large main room where the tables arent crowded together. Took a bit to find a table near an outlet for our computers, but once we did we were comfortable. The barista have is the wifi password when we asked.They have plenty of light food choices, including vegetarian options - I got a bagel, my friend got a caprese panini (he liked it). I didnt notice tea listed on the menu, but there were several tea containers along the wall to the right of the counter. I asked and was told any of them can be ordered. I tried the signature tea, which is a delicious blend of black teas with lavender and vanilla bean.The entrance has both stairs and a ramp.

Ike Box is a good place to have 2 to 4 person meetings. There is plenty of seating. I like coming here on my lunch to read or watch videos on my tablet. The staff are always friendly, and the mission of Ike Box is something worth looking into.

Its a fine and excellent coffee shop and they work some good caffeine magic there.Years ago, it also had the politest mosh pit Ive ever had the privilege of entering, so its also a fine and excellent small concert venue -- someone very promptly put me on the floor without a hint of concussion, and I had a lovely time. Make of that what you will.

This is one of those cool little local coffee shops. They sell Sisters Coffee, which is great. The location is older and has amazing character. Its a great little coffee shop to sit for a bit or spend an afternoon reading. Also, maybe most importantly, the tables are spaced far enough apart that conversations dont bleed over into one another. You can actually breathe a little and talk with the people you came with.

Its a pretty nice place to have a sit down and a drink. Little hard to find if ya dont know where it is but this place is aweaome regardless.

Always patient with me as I order, however loud during certain times of the day, but over all a really good place to study though!

IKE Box has a fantastic ambiance and a super friendly staff. Its older structure and architecture give it an authentic feeling that set it apart from trendy coffee places trying to be hipster chic, but it also offers all the modern amenities. If you want a peaceful and calming place to enjoy your drink or have a bakery treat, this is it!

I like that they have a good selection of healthier choices for snacks and nibbles. And my favorite drink here is the London Fog (an Earl Grey latte), really fantastic! Nice large, clean bathroom; I was able to fit a stroller and 3 kids in there. Lots of seating.

Love Ike box. Sometimes its a bit crowded, but for good reason. The coffee is great, as well as, the food. I love the atmosphere. Lovely old Salem architecture.
