I called to ask a simple question and he was cocky for no reason. That’s not good service for someone asking a question that’s posted everywhere.
Super friendly staff. I loved that it wasn’t crowded but I’m sure that’s not good for business. Quick to service us. Sound quality was good and screen. But I’ve had better experiences for the same price. Either way still a great option for a movie.
Not really sure what the point of keeping this place open is. Is AMC trying to establish a foothold here? Are you going to bother to renovate this theater? There are about four or five amazing competitors with newer theaters, all but one with recliners. I would get AMC A-List if the theaters here were habitable. They are just letting this one run down and not doing a thing to improve it. It reminds me of one of those dumpy motels now.
My husband and I love going here!!! Great deals and the staff are so nice!!!! I happened to pop in for a movie by myself and had a great time. No line to wait in. I got a good deal on my concessions, and I really enjoyed the film.I really want to give a shout out to Vince for going above and beyond to make my experience a great one!! I would give him 10 stars ! Definitely coming back for more great costumer service and movies!
Bad service, very slow. Ordered popcorn and a pop. The popcorn took 20 minutes to get. The seats are 1980s uncomfortable. I am 67 and was excruciating to sit in the seats. The only reason I stayed was because I was with family and it was the only place in town that was playing the Mr Rogers movie. The screen is tiny compared to most theatres. In fact I think my screen at home might be about the same size. I would give it 1 star, but they did have the movie we wanted to see, and the bathrooms are clean.
This is a nice place. Always clean and nice staff. Same prices as most. Well go again....
Since being on crutches this is the most accessible theater in town. I love their popcorn and drinks. It is almost always clean with the exception of random pieces of popcorn hiding here and there. And the workers are pleasant.
Great place to relax and watch a movie. Staff was courteous and we had a great time.
Very nice and roomy, clean. Comfortable seats and lots of great movie snacks, to please pretty much anyones cravings. A little pricey but worth it as a treat once in awhile.
Good popcorn and friendly people. Chairs in movie not so comfortable
We used to go here a lot when we were dating. Loved going here. Great place to see a flick!!!
Its a good place to go. Just very outdated, been the same way since it was built.
I give it 4 only because of service experience. The theater can do for some work, but the manager was so kind and helpful to give my daughter a better birthday after a failed one and little resource (money) that was a true act of kindness and putting your customers first! Thank you!
Always enjoy going to FSC! Employees are friendly and the theater is clean.
Got the tickets online. Very quick and friendly staff. Great popcorn. Only issue was people behind us talked a lot. Other than that it was great.
Only went because we had AMC giftcard. Seats were comfy. Popcorn area was trashed. Kids running up and down the halls yelling. Staff was friendly but the cleanliness and security was not on point
Popcorn is cold and butter tastes terrible. Dated, and seating is terrible because you constantly have to look up at the screen or sit at a higher elevation where you can look straight at the screen but it’s 50 yards away. Very disappointed, wouldn’t recommend to anyone; just go to GDX.
We loved the movie theater to ourselves it was a nice buttery experience with popcorn and the movie rocked, we saw abominable
The prices are great and the theaters arent crammed with people. The down fall is the seating. The chairs are stiff and literally starting to shred. Needs an update
Great price. Not packed at all. Only advice is go 15 min after the starting time to avoid excessive advertising.
Pretty good for a basic theater. It is not upgraded like the other local theaters are, but they also arent as expensive.
I really enjoy the workers. They are very considerate and professional.
This is my favorite theater. Ive read the other reviews that talk about dirtiness and what not. Seriously? Its a movie theater. Now, I know I havent gone intentionally to look at the cleanliness but Ive never been the least bit creeped out by it and I would be. Never noticed any different level than another theater. The seating is completely fine and kept us all (four of five children-one was in our arms) and wife and me comfortable throughout the movie, which is the point. Prices are unbeatable. Concessions were fine and at least here I can afford some concessions after purchasing the tickets. The greatest plus is that the staff is the most friendly of any theater Ive ever been to. Always attentive and went out of their way to make sure my children enjoyed the experience. Thank you staff!
Saw a lot of good movies here
Couple of things....Pricy...25 mins worth of ad..And I have to say, the most dirtiest theatre I have been in. Floor tiles missing, seats ripped, dirty seats... Will never go back...
Always love the service and experience at this theater. Proud Stubs A-List member.
Over priced and had a hidden 25% upcharge for purchasing on line.
First Time Ever Going. It was great loved the friendly staff, reminds me on my hometown theater. We will be back.
SO DIRTY AND DINGY. i WOULDNT GO BACK IF THE MOVIE WAS FREE!
It was fine. Movie was good.
The last time I went to this theater was the night that Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindlewhatever was released. We arrive and upon entering the theater in which our movie was playing we soon realized the previews images were messed up. This was a 3d movie but none of the images were aligning, and then the screen turned entirely green and we were left with only audio. There were only about 6 of us in the theater that night (opening night) and we all waited patiently for someone to address this problem. Nobody did. Eventually someone walked out and asked for assistance. The customer came back into the theater and said somebody was working on it. Previews end - the movie starts. The screen is still green.... I myself walk out there to express my dissatisfaction and the staff members grumble among themselves at who should have to go fix it this time. Finally somebody does fix the problem, about 6 minutes into the movie and passed all the previews. We were not presented a formal apology or compensation of any kind, just a poor experience. Thanks a lot AMC. Fortunately Goodrich Quality 10 is just across the street. I only wish I didnt have 19$ left in a gift card to an unfortunate establishment.
Pop corn was to salty. Really enjoyed the movie and the theater.
Just saw IT. Was pretty good
I only went here because it was showing a movie that GDx stopped showing. The movie tickets and concession was way over priced! The bathrooms are straight out of a horror movie, I felt the need to hide my expensive items. The floors and seats need updating, there’s tiles on the floor missing, the seats are small and have stains. It got the job done but I definitely won’t go here again.
(A) Saginaw Fashion Square-What could possibly go wrong when you allow a baby in a baby carrier into an adult movie? First, during the previews, the lovely parents changed the diaper in the theater instead of taking it to one of the restrooms. (Nice smell to go with our snacks.)Then the baby cried during the movie; then the parents got into an argument that we were all in on; then the angry male went in and out of the room 5-6 times within a 5 minute period slamming the door as he left; then the argument ensued again. No staff around. When reported to the staff, it was my problem that I did not come to get them earlier. Why should I miss more of the movie?I would think that when the staff sees a baby going into one of adult theaters it should be a red flag to keep an eye on that theater. Thats just me.When I asked for my money back the manager was only going to give me the admission price, but I demanded the full amount that I spent since I purchased some items to get the full movie-going experience. And it was an experience...Theres more. During the first 15 minutes of the coming attractions there was NO sound so I was able to practice my lip reading skills. ( I discovered that Im not very good at it.) Would have given ZERO stars if I could, but it wont let you post your comment unless you give it at least one star.
This theater has the best discount movies on Tuesday and really nice employees
Needs some fixing up. Go here because Im a Stubs card holder. Love the discounts.
Not really accessible for those with disabilities, nice, polite staff
Good pricing for admission horrible pricing on concession items.$5.00 for a slurpee...8.00 a bag of whewwwww omg....
Staff is nice but its like a ghost town on there..one thing i wish they change there seating..they sre very uncomfortable and outdated..if they had GDX seating and add on to it more people would come
It was not a really nice experience because they had messes everywhere and I think it’s time for them to close down
Old. Wore out. Pricey.
I love to watch movies the AMC in Saginaw Mi have very old seats and they are very uncomfortable to sit in. The service was nice and I love the ticket prices the popcorn prices are way high for combos and stuff.
The seats are uncomfortable because they are small and dont recline but I go there all the time because their prices are low. The movie technology are very up to date too!
It was okay no free refills on popcorn no refills at all on popcorn and a theater was cold and its the middle of October you all need to do better.
This was the worst theater I have ever been to!! The popcorn tasted a day old, the staff didnt seem to know what they were doing. The seats are tiny! Floors were dirty and buttery, felt disgusting. We sit for the movie, screen still black, background music playing. The lights turn off as people still coming in, then finally the movie starts playing, no sound, still background music playing, and the movie was already 15 minutes into the movie.
Excellent service, hospitality exceptional. Everyone employee was generous and very accomadable, place was very clean and tidy also bathrooms were in very clean condition.
For what it is, its not bad. But theirs no point in going here unless theirs a movie playing here that inst playing at Quality 10. I think its a pretty mediocre movie theater.
It was all right. had my movie pass card. They didnt know how to help me. The other movie theater was more help.
Cute theater. Friendly staff.
The popcorn machine needs some serious cleaning. Nice place to see movies and not crowded like the new theater. I do wish they would invest in some updates but then of course it would be crowded.
I usually don t mind going here even though its old, not well kept, and has smaller seats. I have a large family and its easier on the pocket. I would advise against buying tickets online, because we bought tickets got there and they were closed. Tickets were for 1pm and the sign on the building said open at 3pm. Kids were so disappointed I had to drive over to the Goodrich theatre down the road and paid over double for the tickets there. I called and requested a refund from amc, at least they were friendly and are going to refund my money. I love the prices at and, but not sure of all the hassle is worth it.
All of the staff were really nice and friendly! I just have a complaint/suggestion. We just saw The Beguiled, which is a quiet dramatic film. Our theater is a bit older I guess than some of the newer, probably better sound-proofed ones and we could hear our neighboring film, Spiderman, ALL THE WAY through our film. It was SO distracting. definitely took us out of our film. Maybe put the louder ones by each other and keep the dramas away from the action packed films? thank you
Employees were real nice but it had to be the dirtiest theater Ive ever been to. Seats were so filthy, I didnt wanna even sit on them
These store are notorious for prices ringing up wrong.
Prices are a little steep for the quality of the theater. But you can add unlimited butter on your popcorn
Great Affordable and good Service
We love this theater. Yes its a little old and grungy, but where else we can take six of us to the movies for less than $60, AND get popcorn and drinks? Plus the employees are always pleasant and helpful. Thats a win in my book. If youre looking for a bargain this is your place.
Not top quality but still had good time.
Theatre seating is very old world. Seats dont recline and if you are seated in middle of the hall your neck will hurt by the time Movie ends. I have seen better audio effects and theatre seating in other AMC.
I wish the popcorn was less pricey. But the tickets are a reasonable price compared to other theaters.
Decent priced tickets, clean theater
The staff is Very Friendly but inside the theaters they have a Funky smell and I wasnt the only 1 to say it smelled bad in there!! They need air fresheners in each theater...
The theater is run down and dirty. We had coupons thank goodness. If I would have paid for that Id be pissed. Seats are not comfortable like the Goodrich. Patches of floor missing, trash cans overflowing, floors muddy and popcorn everywhere. Sound of the movie even was terrible.
Very little leg room. No stadium seating. Seats not tall enough for head support. On the other hand there are never large crowds.
Friendly staff, but the theater was so filthy. All the seats are stained and so dirty. The smell of urine and old dirty upholstery almost made me forgo the movie.
Not the gdx
Popcorn was good and friendly service but seats were small and close together. Aisles were very tight also.
Great prices but sound quality needs improvement
Good movies in an intimate atmosphere.
Theater was good, not excellent. But had very good popcorn, a wide range of drinks, and unbelievably cheap tickets and refreshments
Older theater but Id rather go here than GDX. Its super cheap (and it shows because of how out dated the theater is). The concessions are bit expensive but none of that affects the actual movie. They have small seats but chances are youll be the only people in theater which who doesnt love that!?
Went 2 go c Jumanji, b4 its not n theater, w my family. The seats there r not meant 4 ppl who r bigger &/or bigger women thats expecting child, like myself. It was very uncomfortable 4 me & it made me feel very embarrassed 4 being a pregnant BBW. My husband was awesome 4 getting a chair 4 me 2 seat n the back w them, which I thought was very sweet & kindhearted of him cause he knew that I really wanted 2 c this movie so bad, which came out on Christmas 2017. I would love it if this theater upgraded their seats 2 accommodate w 2days society...its 2018 4 goodness sake...Lol...Ijs. I would gladly update my rating, but, only if they upgrade here... or
Usually not super busy. They keep it clean and have current movies at ok prices.
We arrived in Saginaw and met our friends. We were all looking forward to seeing the movie, DEATH OF A NATION. It was Tuesday and, because we are AMC Rewards members, we were able to purchase our tickets for $5 each. The theater in Saginaw is a multiplex having numerous screens. That is when I should have realized that things were not quite right. Every individual theater had a red lit sign outside of their respective door to indicate what movie was playing inside. The sign for DEATH OF A NATION was nowhere to be seen. We had to ask and were finally directed to the proper screen. Somebody had forgot to turn on the sign.Once in the theater we found seats. The theater had maybe 20-30 people, in addition to us. The movie started off well, but soon things went totally off track. During many scenes the sound cut out. The question was whether it was part of DSouzas editing of the film for dramatic effect or whether there were technical problems.A patron who was sitting near the door left the theater to inform staff. Upon his return there was no change. The sound kept dropping frequently. For a while things seemed to settle. The sound was consistent. Then there was a scene in which DSouza, through his narration, said that he wanted the audience to hear a song. The film showed the band, but no sound.I went out front and demanded to see the manager. I described the situation to her. She stated that she would watch the movie and check the status. The remainder of the movie went without incident. After the film, I, along with another man who sat through it, requested to speak with the manager again. I explained that I have a friend who owned a 4 screen theater. I described how theaters usually have 3-6 speakers mounted on the walls and 1 larger speaker behind or under the screen. She explained the lay-out of her theater and let it slip that she went to the projection room and turned on the main speaker. She almost let her statement pass without further elaboration. Fortunately, I picked up on it and questioned her. She reiterated that the main speaker had been left off. She said that the projectionist must have forgot to turn the sound on. She further acknowledge that her staff, unlike my friend, does not stay near the projector for the first few minutes of each showing to ensure that the film and equipment are working properly.I went nuts on her. I drove 1 1/2 hours to see the movie and it seemed to me that given the sign that they forgot to turn on and the sound that they also forgot about... Well, I accused her of trying to sabotage the movie. She refunded the ticket price to the members in our party and that of the gentleman who accompanied me to the office.I was loud enough so that people who were in line for the next showing heard my complaint. I went back into the theater and specifically warned people about what had happened. My greatest regret is that I was unable to get refunds for everyone who had been in the theater with us when we tried to watch the movie. As it was, they only had to refund money to 5 of us.I am still pissed! Saginaw is the ONLY theater within 100 miles that show any of DSouzas documentaries. I will think twice before going there again in the future. They sabotaged the movie as far as I am concerned!
The staff is friendly and they have good popcorn. Yes, the previews are long but they are long at all theaters. Good prices for tickets.
Great movies, affordable prices. Clean atmosphere.
This theater is older but more reasonable than the other big theater in town, so its usually my first choice.
Favorite theatre! Unfortunately the lack of customer service from the manager Kevin is why I am only leaving 1 star. Terrible experience especially considering he was training a new young lady today. Smh
Dont go the movies very often but the Shaft movie was a great choice.
Nice theater but $16.99 for 2 pops and popcorn is too much!!
Nice place great place to go on Tuesdays for discounts
Great movies and prices!
Service is good prices are bad
Since Changing to AMC the theater has gotten much better. 15min of trailers and advertising instead of the usual 30min. Also started showing movies that are harder to see around these areas . A welcome addition to town
Staff are friendly and allowed me take in fruit to eat because of my health issues.I like that I can see a new film and have some space between me and the audience. I LOVE THE PRICE. I like the older screens and seating. Staff are friendly and allowed me take in fruit to eat because of my health issues. The other place wont let me do that. Since new ownership they cleaned up the place (like cleaned the old nasty floors) and fixed things that were broken 5-7 yrs ago like a broken arm rest he rusty sink fixtures ect ect. Someone came in (new owners?) and fixed all the things Id have fixed myself. So it shows me they (the new owners) care about the place and want people like me to continue to come to a place that feels like HOME. Keep up the good work and Ill keep showing up here.
If you are plus-sized, dont bother. Their seats are outdated and small. Anyone who wears larger than a size 20 (40in waist) will be very uncomfortable. First chair I sat in I couldnt even sit all the way back in, then found a seat a bit wider and was ok, but still uncomfortable. I have never had this issue at any other theater. On the upside, the theater was pretty empty opening weekend of Batman vs Superman, so we got our tickets quickly. Guess now I know why!
Terrible. I went in and it was dead and the staff didnt seem interested in anything. I get it, its a small and old theater that doesnt get much business ever since the new gdx was built but I think they should still keep up with it. The prices were still pretty expensive for the quality of an experience you were getting. The popcorn was not good at all, We went in to theater 8 to see The Secret Life Of Pets and they didnt even bother to change the picture that says what movie it is so we had no idea if we were in the right one. They didnt clean anything, There was still old pop containers everywhere and popcorn covering the floor. Either they didnt clean it all day or they never do because it looked terrible. The seats were dirty and broken and the seat i was at didnt even have an arm rest, it was just sharp metal. Also I went to get a re-fill on my popcorn about 30-40 min into the movie and they already had thrown it away, which I find rude. Even though we were the last movie of the night, it still should have been left just incase someone wanted it and as soon as everyone was gone then they could have gotten rid of it. Very disappointed.
Its a pretty slow going movie theater. Popcorn wasnt fresh. The theater was very clean.
I the you experience this is a very nice theater love it Im from out of state in every time I come home to visit my parents we always choose this movie theater because of positive experience
Cool place so many movies to choose from
So I was super excited about the movie and this was the only place that had the preview tickets for the movie I wanted to see. So I purchased them online and they the tickets were only $6.So we went and we couldnt fit in the seats. Now Im a medium build woman and I couldnt fir in the seats . The screen seemed so small. I was very disappointed. Maybe Im spoiled but I wont be going back. I need a recliner and a big screen, looks like Ill be paying more and driving the extra miles for the Birch run movie theater.
Tuesday great prices pop corn and beverages. Hate the ads. I go to the movies and pay dearly i should not have to pay to see ads
Always friendly staff and clean environment. Also the slushie machine is a big hit with my boys.
Small seats for my big butt, but ok experience.
First time there, nice place. Friendly.
I love this theater, one of the best ones I have ever been to!
One day I was feeling like watching a movie, so I came here, I saw how empty the parking lot was, and thought hmm, there probably a reason why the parking lot is empty. I decided to go to GDX 10 instead, reading these reviews I am happy I did
