The State Captial Museum is definitely a must see. The details and rich history found in every corner of the building is both beautiful and humbling. We walked around for hours, admiring the rooms kept to authentic historical presentations and asked to be inside the Supreme Court room alone, which they allowed! We got to sit in the seats and just be apart of something bigger than us. The artwork, frescos, and architecture were stunning visuals that anyone can appreciate and admire. Take this trip, it is well worth it but give yourself at least 3 hours to truly see everything!

Can you really say you’ve visited Sacramento without visiting the California State Capitol Museum?? This is one of the main tourist attractions in Sacramento. There’s not much to look at inside, but this is a very good place to take photos (outside). The grounds are spacious, there’s a lot of greenery and it’s clean. I think this is why a lot of people take their wedding photos here. I recommend taking photos here

Had a very educational and fun time at the capital. The grounds are beautiful the building is well kept and managed. Security is tight but everyone was super friendly. We really appreciated the Vietnam memorial. It brought tears to my eyes to see the number of souls listed on the walls. The sculptures of the soldiers and the letter from home was beautiful. The park is surrounded by plaques that have poems written by kids about peace. We really enjoyed this trip!

The California’s State Capitol Buildings and its museums are situated at Sacramento a medium sized beautiful town in USA. We have had a Golden opportunity to visit the city on the Afternoon of 15th October 2019. The tomb of the Capitol building in Sacramento(State Head Quarters) is structured similar to that of the White House Building in Washington DC(Federal Head Quarters). The museums organized in Sacramento is worth seeing and enjoyable one. The streets of the city are master planned and constructed in such a beautiful manner towards the Capitol Building on all its 4 directions. People from all over the places visit the States Head Quarters.

We have driven past the state capitol building many times but for once we decided that we are going to stop and go through it. It was a great experience and the building is absolutely magnificent. I was surprised for the beauty of the architecture inside of the California Capitol. It is so grateful that the government conserves historical building in this great condition. Also they offer a visit guided and you can spend some time inside the sessions room. The floors are incredible, the Colombus and Queen Isabel is so beautiful. If you are around the capitol you must go inside and take a look. I am glad I found by coincidence this tour in a cloudy day.

The capital is a truly beautiful setting and environment for information. I went to support my union but got a glimpse of all the other counties that rely on Californias legislators ability to take care of its people. I enjoyed the sights. Its a living museum. But honestly it feels like a reminder of how ineffective the law makers were and why the people suffered so much because of them. If you havent been to the capital, go to see where California has been. But go back to the capital to help see it through the future. Our beliefs should be challenged every time we have disagreements. How will you know ifour beliefs will stand the test of time if no one ever thinks it could fail. Our better selves is found in failure. Success is elusive and misleading. Pride can and has blinded before.

It’s had been more than 15 years since I’ve been back to Sacramento. The upkeep of the capital is actually really good. For being as old as it is, the grounds were decent and hopefully will continue for future generations to enjoy. The shop is small but enough. There’s quite a bit of areas or choices to eat in the museum as well. Walking the ground outside is really nice as well. The upkeep of the trees and plants is nicely kept.

A beautiful state Capitol building! I’ve visited many of the state Capitols and this building ranks very close to Texas which is also very beautiful and full of history. While the building is beautiful and full of history and great architecture, it’s just smaller than Texas and less innovative in terms of its architecture, but otherwise, if you love American history it’s a must see place!

The California State Capitol Museum consists of a museum in and grounds around the California State Capitol in Sacramento. The building has been the home of the California State Legislature since 1869. The State Capitol Museum has been a property in the California State Parks system since 1982. While the entire building may be considered a museum, the heart of the Capitol Museum can be found on the basement and first floor of the original section of the building. In the basement can be found the tour office, a small theater showing several short films on the history of the Capitol, the gift shop, and the Arthur Mathews mural, the History of California. There are 40 acres of gardens in the surrounding Capitol Park, including trees and shrubs from around the world. There are approximately 1140 trees in the park (not including shrubs) representing over 200 types of trees. Overall this is the legendary Capitol of California and it’s where all of our state laws are made. It’s definitely worth a visit in my opinion and the city and county of Sacramento has a lot to offer and I hope you guys enjoy this beautiful historic location and I hope my review was helpful.CheersSincerely, Omaid
