Course is playing really well and is a breeze to setup tee times. Gets pretty full so check online.
Pace of play to strongly impressed upon for a a beginner, but a nice course nonetheless.
Wildhawk is a very relaxed place to golf, the staff is very attentive and make you feel welcomed even if you work for them for a short period of time
A fun day. They ran out of power carts, but I was walking anyway. This was close to a noon tee off.
Wonderful golf course. Good for all skill levels.
Played with very nice people but the course has not been maintained very well i was disappointed. Beautiful day though.
Currently working here and its sooo pretty, though be careful in the summer/spring, those little blackbirds might try to get you if you get too close to their nests. Otherwise I highly recommend. Staff are nice and they serve food and booze in the food section
Lots of tee boxes need work. Lots of soggy areas that should get corrected. Nice course for the walking rate.
The people are always nice, the process are ok and the golf course in is pretty good condition but the tee boxes and bunkers could use some work. Overall its a nice course that has its challenges for sure.
The course was in excellent shape. It is an easy course to walk. Will probably be going back there soon.
Great course. Very forgiving but a challenge of less experienced golfers
Great shape... clean
Had a really great time.
Course in great shape - greens better - no sand.
Beautiful course great play
Nice course, tough back nine
My 13 old is took his first golf lessons today, he really enjoyed it. The instructor is great! 6 one hour lessons for $90-
Good course and in good shape.
Nice course!
Had a great time at WildHawk
Fair prices
Casey G nailed it. The course is in excellent shape. I love the design, in fact its one of my top three courses in the area. However, the service here is terrible. Im not prone to using 100% references, but Id have to say that every interaction Ive had with the staff, theyve not had the best attitude. Ill hand it to them, they do a lot for the First Tee program but its like they feel like theyre doing me a favor every time I ask a question. One time I was the last group in, around 7:00pm. When dropping off the cart (which I kindly delivered to the cart barn so they didnt have to retrieve it, by the way), I told the kid in the cart barn hope I didnt keep you late. She wasnt amused. Oh, my apologies for staying until dusk to finish all 18 holes that I paid for. Other interactions have been the same. I could see myself being a regular here if the staff was a bit friendlier.
Fun course
The course is awesome. The marshals are helpful. The holes could definitely be labeled better. The last time I went the staff was great but this time a huge drop off. The younger gentleman in the pro shop had an attitude. He was not helpful at all.
Wildhawk is near the top of my 5 favorite courses in the greater Sacramento area. The course is challenging but rewarding. Visually it is pleasant and aesthetically appealing. The conditions are consistent and it plays pretty well in wet weather. The prices are fair, especially for seniors and walkers. But I am mostly impressed by the staff - they are courteous and accommodating from the pro shop to the maintenance workers, to the restaurant crew. Tony Schwartz is a class act who has made my and my husband feel like we are country club members. My husband even commented to me that Tony randomly comped his green fees and range balls. My husband said to me Maybe he thinks Im on the Make-a-Wish list. This course is a MUST play!
A good course for golfers at all levels, the back9 is far more challenging than the front so dont allow yourself to lose concentration, the greens are well maintained and roll true (often slow) fairways are flat, the rough is very manageable, Id rate the bunkers but Im not often any of them. For the price its a good track to play often. the staff in the clubhouse and bar are great.
Love this place. A little pricey but definitely worth the bucks.
Very nice. Course well maintained. Would get 5 stars if we didnt have to wait for groups in front of us. We were, however, golfing on the weekend.
Out on the edge of town, this is a great little golf course that is well maintained. 18 holes, plus driving range and practice putting greens. Practice chipping green is in the back where they do lessons. Small, but adequately stocked pro shop, along with a small restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Nothing too fancy or pretentious here - - just what you need for a nice round of golf.
This was my second time playing a full 18 and I did enjoy the course. I thought the course was well maintained and I enjoyed my time on the course.I scored this place low for a couple of reasons.1. My friends phone was stolen out of his golf cart while we took a 9th hole break in the club house. We left our carts for maybe 10 minutes and there were no golfers behind us.2. In my opinion, the staff was not the best on customer service. I felt they had a go do it yourself kind of attitude. For instance, at the end of the day I walked past the cart drop off to return my rental clubs to the clubhouse that I picked them up at. The guy told me to go back to the cart drop off to drop the bags. Not a big deal but I was already burnt out from the heat and I felt like I should have been able to leave them there. I walked the clubs back out to the cart rental and there was nobody to help me and no signs for the drop off.3. We were promised a discount that we did not receive and for that reason a lot of our players backed out.I would go back but watch your stuff and dont expect to be greeted with a smile. And bring your own drinks for the end of the day. The clubhouse closed a little early.
Came from Utah to golf in the area and Wildhawk was Awesome. Head Professional Tony Schwartz is a great guy and helped make our round great. We actually came back the next day and played again . Thanks Tony. We will be back next time we are in town.
I enjoy normally Wildhawk, but the course is so wet right now, I couldnt recommend it to anyone. Some of the fairways are so wet that they cant mow. Consequently, you can lose you ball right in the middle of the fairway. If you miss the fairway, dont even bother to look.
The course was in pretty good shape. But, it took us FIVE AND ONE HALF HOURS to play our round. There was not one marshal on the course monitoring pace of play. Management showed no effort to resolve the slow play. Very disappointing.
The course was very beautiful and interesting, but it is very difficult for beginner.there are some undulating fairways, and it needs high skill to get to a hole.Anyway, If you dont have any experience there, I recommend you play a golf there.
Great golf. Greens runs smoothly and quickly.
Played a round yesterday, the play was fantastic! Jodi in the cafe was over the top. Great overall experience.
The course was in great shape and the staff was first rate. great experience.
It was my first time and I enjoyed it even though I lost a lot of balls.
Good time on the course and an excellent burger in the restaurant!!
Nice course firm and fast. Slow play most times.
Great track !!!Only 38 minutes from Stockton.
I go their all the time and love it
After all the rain the course was hard to play. The back nine was a muddy challenge. I will play this course again after it dries out.
Nice place but the ball washers were dry and broken the rags were worn out and the drinking water everywhere was warm on a really hot day
Great place to hang!
SLOW SLOW SLOW round. Waited on every tee.
Very relaxing.
Great course, friendly folks
Always enjoy playing here.
