This eclectic gallery has a lot of interesting things to look at, including some artists Studios. A very talented local artist Helen Henert supervised a silent auction for Joshua House with theme of Shelter. These funds were raised to pay for a respite house for terminally ill homeless. Before the auction started, there was an artists reception. Having entered a contribution of my own in a poem titled Seeking Simple Shelter, I got to meet some great local artists and enjoy cheese and wine while I played classical music on My Guitar.
Great variety of artists studios with a central gallery. Fun to visit during the Sacramento Art Walk. Make sure you go all the way to the back of the building, theres more Art and ceramics to discover.
This old building hides some fabulous artists. Many of the studio residents are art professors. My two favourite ceramic artist are housed there. It has a large bare bones display gallery that focuses on the art. You can actually view art without being bumped by another person. One drawback is they have narrow viewing times.Overall Luv!
Love this gallery. Have very interesting shows.
Great Art! Great Artists!
