Merle Axlerads work is intriguing, subtle, and very satisfying to view. Its best by far to experience in person, as different kinds of magic appear at different distances. Definitly a treat not to be missed!

Amazing!!!It is no wonder her Art hangs in City Hall and the EPA building. She can take tiny pieces of fabric and create a fabric collage that from a distance looks like a photograph.As a Sacramento artist, she has certainly made me pay attention.Mind you, the rest of the artists at the Arthouse, Sacramento are pretty good too.I am glad she sells prints of her work as her original artwork is a bit out of my price range. Maybe I can afford an art greeting card.
