California Carnival Company was founded in 1981 with a goal to provided local communities with not just the excitement that naturally comes when the carnival arrives in town, but to provide a total entertainment venue focused on family and community. What started as a family operated carnival continues as a family operated carnival to this day.California Carnival Company has evolved over the years, growing our event portfolio and ride arsenal. Currently, we service a wide variety of fairs, festivals, and events throughout the state of California, providing rides for all ages. From thrill seekers to junior riders, we have rides for everyone to enjoy.

Had an great time at the carnival with the exception of an incident with one rather rude employee. Messaged the company through Facebook, and received a very professional response almost immediately. Long story short, I heard from the president of the company by the end of the same day with a very sincere apology for the incident, as well as an offer for passes for the next time the carnival comes to our town. I was beyond impressed with the quality of customer service! We always enjoy ourselves when we attend California Carnivals events in our town, and for them to be so concerned and apologetic for the actions of one of their employees, was icing on the cake. When asking the on-site manager if I could photograph myself (self portrait) at the carnival, he declined saying they have “a problem” with “people photographing children” at the carnival. Really? Not what I was expecting to hear. I might be a little easier to surveil than the hundreds of guys with their cell phones that they could use without detection. Maybe your focus should be on the problem and not on someone trying to photograph themselves. I’d be more scared about the shady employees that are standing around smoking and on their phones instead of watching the rides. Choose a more kid-friendly carnival.
