Memorial Field in Rutherford, NJ at the corner of Darwin Avenue and Washington Avenue has a fabulous walk/jog, roller blade, and bike track. What a great way to meet a friend to talk and walk! So enjoyable! Carolyn Hayes

I like the fact that the visiting stands are pretty substantial. You can sit on the 50 yard line and see the whole game.

This field is very good for walking. Also there is a track for walking and running.

Very nice place to run, exercise and play sports.

Clean, organized and safe for family workouts

Not much to do except the playground, Id encourage you bring your own ball to make it a little bit better. I did not like it though because most of the things to do require a ball and there is like no shade. It is mostly for kids ages 4-8

The track and field are beautiful!

It is a very unwelcoming place. If you are not a resident you cannot play sports inside the stadium without a permit. My friends and I would try playing soccer outside the stadium by the grass fields but we still got kicked out. One lady complained to us saying a soccer ball can accidentally hit a child while we are playing. She’s saying that while softball practice is happening and that ball hurts way more so that’s a lousy excuse. She called the cops on us and we had no choice but to leave.

The scene of many memorable football games, Tryon Field is one of the most important places in Rutherford. The field aleo features an all weather track for local events.

I really like the park I havent been there in several years I like the fact that they kept it updated kept it clean and neat and still open to the public although were still in the pandemic its a great place to unwind and relax, get a breath of fresh air from all the craziness going on get a chance to relax stop and just get ready for the rest of your week or whatever you have to do.
